The most positive experience I have had with dentist! The dentist Goran Kostadinov is brilliant. I had Invisalign and composite bonding I am so happy with my outcome! Would recommend this surgery to anyone!

Had a terrible experience at this dental practice, wouldn’t send my worst enemy. Attended as an emergency for severe dental Pain. Was greeted by a lovely caring and compassionate receptionist but sadly that’s where the positive experience ended. Was seen by a dentist “Goran” and was going to have an extraction. He gave me a local anesthetic which didn’t work properly and I told him I could still feel pain from the tooth. He tried to inject more local into what felt like the tooth itself and the pain was excruciating. I let out a cry from this pain, he carried on and so I let out another cry. He abruptly stopped, threw his syringe down and said in an aggressive tone, “if you’re going to shout, I won’t do it” I explained that I couldn’t help it, the pain was excruciating to be told by the dental nurse, “yes, sorry about that, it’s just it doesn’t sound good to people outside!” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. If it didn’t sound “good” then he should have stopped when it was evident it was hurting. He tried again, numbing into the surrounding area. He again tried to numb close/into the tooth and again it was excruciating. I let out a small Cry, almost frightened to annoy him anymore in my vulnerable state. He once again threw his syringe down down pushed his tray away and aggressively said, “that’s it, I can’t do anymore with you, as is it was some sort of punishment that I couldn’t stand the pain. I broke down in tears, I have never in My whole life been made to feel this way, especially by a supposed “healthcare professional” I am a healthcare professional myself and have been for 20 years. I can honestly say I wouldn’t dream of treating another human being like this, someone who has came to you distressed and anxious and then made to feel 10 times worse. I have never witnessed any of my colleagues acting in this way. I was very upset and told him I didn’t choose to feel this way and walked out feeling helpless. My husband was disgusted by my treatment from this person, took me straight to Newcastle dental hospital. I was seen by a lovely final yr student who was kind, compassionate and competent. He used a more appropriate local anesthetic which numbed me almost immediately and with the help of a qualified dentist and dental nurse carried out a difficult extraction with kindness, calmness and empathy. They had the skills and compassion that most of us in healthcare pride ourselves in. This was in stark contrast to my brutal, cold experience at Hebburn dental. I will be taking this matter to the CQC.

A pleasant receptionist, who is always happy to help, appointment was right on time. Dentist Hashim and Dental Nurse Jane were fantastic with my son Oliver this evening, really put him at ease and always give the best advice to any questions or queries I may have. As an anxious and nervous patient of the dentist I was reassured and made to feel at ease. Thank you Hashim and Jane.
