I have always had an extreme fear of the dentist and can honestly say after 30+ years I have almost overcome that fear thanks to Dr. Harry wheeler at the practise. I can’t recommend Harry enough, So patient, friendly and amazing at his job. I have just had a root canal done (a true fear of mine) and it was painless. The reception staff are also absolutely lovely to deal with. 10/10 practise and I’m so glad I found them.

I only recently registered here, but I am amazed at the care I received so far from Dr. Wheeler. I've had a swelling in my gum since the beginning of the pandemic. When I went to the dental hospital in town a year ago the dentist told me there was no swelling there, even though I could clearly feel it. A couple of weeks ago I came here for my first appointment for a tooth infection in the same area. I didn't even have to mention the swelling. My dentist did a very thorough full checkup and noticed it himself. It looked like a complicated situation because there was no infection on the xray. He asked for a second opinion, did further checks and today I went for a root canal that took 1.5 hours because of the location of the infection. He didn't rush and he did a very thorough job and the swelling I've had for the past 5 years is already down after 4 hours. As a bonus, the anaesthetic injections didn't hurt and the assistant was lovely and I would've been laughing the entire appointment if my mouth wasn't stuck open. Thank you! I am very glad I stumbled upon this place and will continue to come here.

I went to fix a teeth was informed it has to be extracted. They took half the tooth told to come back tomorrow to be seen by specialist/ more experienced dentist and sure enough I thought he will remove the remaining tooth but instead he gave me appointment in 40 days time. Now when I rinse my mouth half the gum in that tooth hanging in my mouth ( they don't have time i suppose specially for NHS patients). Question is where on this planet they take half the tooth out and call you in following day to give you appointment in 40 days time when the gum is healed and put you through the same pain and discomfort again. It used to be called : Treating people like a ginni pig but these gready practices do this to nhs patients. And at the same time their answering machine says : we are currently taking new patients. They gave me another appointment for crown replacement and I phoned them cancell that which receptionist wanted to impose cancelation fee because it was 23h and 49 minutes to my appointment inwhich I told her you were not picking your phone in the last one hour and that is a money grabbing attempt. I was worried the crown replacement procedure takes another 40 days . She replied there is form D200 for deregistering , I told her just do that . Perhaps she wanted to get ridd of January by tearing it off the calendar . I don't know how they still have a licence to practice. I STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND " MY DENTIST " in crown retail park Gorbals TO ANYONE . WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE LOSING HALF TOOTH AND LEFT WITH HALF & GUM HANGING IN MY MOUTH. Think the counter/ Reception staff need to have a word with themselves. Always full of attitude , zero urgency and clearly at it half the time… cancelled appointment prior to attending, was told there was a cancellation fee which is fine I get that , the girl at the time kindly waived that fee and then few weeks after called to make an appointment and was told “ you need to pay a fee of £25” for your missed appointment that you didn’t bother to attended”… that’s me quoting btw…. But then I reminded her of the reason I cancelled last time and was then told “ Aye so you did, no bother come in Thursday then” Genuinely worst people I’ve dealt with tbh. Definitely moving elsewhere.
