The dentist and dental nurse were thorough and very good. I trust their advice. The receptionists are very pleasant and sweet. I would recommend them highly.

Not a good practice, in my opinion. Place & Absent Prices: Very convenient to get to although only neighborhood parking in the area. Clean and tidy space. However, according to the Telegraph all dentists are meant to have their charges on the waiting room wall - private and NHS. This place doesn't. Dodgy Service: Receptionist comes off as extremely disorganized. Despite my registration form stating I was covered on the NHS, I was still charged like a private patient. Ok, that happens. But then when I had a follow-up call from the dentist himself, he again tried to give me these rates. When I explained I was NHS, he then became very rushed and told me 'they' would call me later to confirm. Dentist & Hygienist: The latter is competent although dispensed vague advise about the acidic content of foods. The dentist though spent more time at his computer behind the chair than sitting and talking with me. A ticket collector on a train displays more warmth and attention, frankly.

Went in emergency to that terrible place, where after the first second, I felt unsafe and trapped like a mouse in a basket full of kitten. The premises are dirty and empty. The guy (don't want to call him the dentist) was wearing a chemist gown with holes and strains. He did not say hello, just asked me to open the mouth, wide! Then he hit my tooth with the handle of his instrument, asked me whether that was painful. I replied no. Advised me to take painkillers, charged me 50 quid and ordered me to leave the place. What the f**k!! This guy is as dentist as I am a cosmonaut!! PLEASE DON'T GO TO THAT AWFUL PLACE! I can provide you with the address of my personal dentist in France, I went instead. You'll get smiles, a cup of tea (with milk!) and no pain guarantee for 36 Euros. Arnaud CHAVENT

Terrible service. Rude receptionist who told me 'its not my problem' when they are running half an hour late, and 'well there's nothing I can do about it so what do you want me to say'. The receptionist also point blank refused to make me an appointment 'because you are NHS' even though I've been going to that dentist for years. I was treated so rudely that I certainly won't be going again (not that they will let me have an appointment anyway!)

I went to Whiteladies Dental care a few times, and each time, a different receptionist. The first time I went, I had a good dentist, a fresh graduate, and he performed a good filling. The next time, his name had been crossed out and I was landed with the practise owner, Dr Hamidi. Unprofessional, extremely patronising and rude. I have had some amazing dental care before, so I knew that his standards were awful. He tried to make me believe that I didn't know what my own mouth felt like. A filling broke off that I'd had for 10 years, and I went to him to get it repaired. He patched it up, only to have it break again within 3 months. I went back to him, unhappy, and asked that he repair the filling at no additional cost. I wanted to talk to him before I signed any paperwork, to ask if he would do it. He sat down in his chair and proceeded to berate me to his receptionist, that he'd never seen behaviour like it, etc etc. I was only asking to talk to the dentist before I signed the paperwork. The receptionist/dental nurse was incredibly rude, reluctant to answer my questions, and reluctant to ask the dentist to talk to me. Hamidi arrived at the desk, sat down, and proceeded to launch into an argument with me about my filling. I said it had broken after 3 months and I wanted it replaced. He basically refused, said he'd send me a cheque for the money I'd paid. I didn't trust that he'd do it, so I asked him for it in writing, that he would refund me. He then threatened to call the police to have me removed. He continued in his threatening manner until I had no choice but to leave. He did later send me a cheque but only for part of the money I'd paid. He repeatedly threatened to call the police, that I was disrupting his business, and wasting his time. He spoke openly to his receptionist in front of me, how he'd never seen anything like it. I promptly reported him to the PALS at the Bristol PCT. In short: horrific experience, rude, patronising and threatening. Not someone who deserves money for services as a medical professional. STAY AWAY.

The worst dentist ever. What a joke of a man, stupid, ignorant. I mean how dumb can one man be? If I can spread one truth it is this: no one should go to the dentist in Whiteladies Road. Hamidi is the worst dentist ever. He has done nothing but hurt and ruined my smile. No one should ever lay in any of his chairs. Once you're there you are screwed. He was actually shouting at the nurse while the drill was in my mouth. Can you believe that? For real? What can I say besides, if you go to to that dentist you are really rolling the dice. You should find another dentist. I'm sure he'll be out of business soon, but just in case, watch out. He does more harm than good.

me and my fiancee have been with the practice for more than a year. during this period, i have had a few visits there and every time there was a different receptionist. the actual chair and the instruments the dentist works with are really old. he does not keep on his little tray anything but a mirror and a little metal hook. he said i have a tiny chip on one of my fillings and he replaced a very tiny bit. in three months it was off with decay under it. when i went back, he actually claimed that no, he had not done that for me, but instead he had done another filling on the other side of the mouth (please take notice, the filling he claimed to have done had been there for 15 years and i remember exactly how, when and where it was done, because it was in a particular time of my life). more than this, he called the nurse to the computer for her to confirm that actually he had done this other filling and they signaled each other to lie to me. obviously, i have promptly changed my dentist (a bit too late , however). throughout the time i was there, i had the impression that he had no idea what he was talking about and that he was only interested in making money fast.

I would never, ever go to this surgery again. Going to the dentist is stressful enough but this place is beyond awful. The dentist, Dr Hamidi is a butcher. He was rude, abrupt, patronising and after a brief and brutal assault on my mouth decided he wouldn't treat me because I needed dental work which he wasn't prepared to carry out the work on the NHS. I wish I could say it was just Hamidi but the receptionist, was equally surly and hostile; loudly and publicly berating in front of other patients for not mentioning prior to my appointment that I needed a crown (I didn't actually know this which is why I went to the dentist in the first place, but nice way to find out). If that wasn't enough, prior to your appointment they insist on taking your card details as a guarantee for missed appointments (fair enough) so the only saving grace (or so I thought) of the whole thing was that they agreed not to charge me for the appointment, but surprise surprise when I checked my bank statement a few days later they'd gone ahead and charged me anyway. They then refused to refund me by bank transfer or send a cheque so I then had to waste yet more time going to collect and cash the cheque, which, low and behold, wasn't for the full amount. I did notice on the way out that they're in the middle of a big refurb, the new decor looks quite nice, shame they can't replace the staff.
