A few years ago I was directed to this dentist from 111. My wisdom tooth was cutting into my cheek and had caused an infection. I kept missing work due to constant dizziness and cold sweats, as well as waking up with my throat swollen shut and excessive toothache. Over the phone, I was laughed at for attempting to use numbing spray to help with the pain. When I had my appointment, neither the dentist nor the assistants knew where anything was in their own clinic. The dentist only looked at one tooth for a few seconds and then told me I was fine and to get myself a dentist. (I currently did not have a dentist because covid had shut everywhere down). I have now had this problem for many more years and have finally found a dentist who has listened to me. She immediately noticed the problem and scheduled me for an extraction. I feel as though I was ignored and even mocked at this location. I'm not sure if it is worse if the dentist couldn't actually see the glaring problem right in front of her or if she simply just ignored it. Save yourself the money and try somewhere else.

I have a real phobia of Dentists and had no choice but to get myself to an emergency Dentist today. Was seen straight away and the Dentist was amazing. I was shaking, nearly crying and he was amazing. Put me at ease and it was nice to have some honest truth with what I need to do next. Unfortunately couldn't do much to my teeth without extraction but i didnt want that. Prescribed me Antibiotics and after a few hours the pain is much more bearable. I'm going to have a lovely nights sleep tonight after not sleeping at all the last two nights.

Got sent there by 111 on a Sunday emergency appointment for a very painful dry socket.. not sure what to expect with the rather mixed review here but all went very well! Very helpful receptionist, very efficient dentist and nurse, my tooth was treated very carefully and the surgery looks new and immaculate! Thanks again!

After reading some of the other reviews I am genuinely confused as I had a completely different experience here. I cannot fault Mr McKenzie who seen me very quickly on a Sunday morning and gave me 3 options which were to leave it but likely keep having infections and issues, a course of antibiotics but again the problem can come back or take the tooth. I opted to have the tooth removed after spending all night in pain, not slept or eaten anything. Now this is where the staff went above and beyond, unfortunately after the extraction and then sitting up I began to feel faint and I passed out! My partner told me that they went above and beyond to help me! Which included tilting the bed, a member of staff even holding my legs in the air, oxygen was given, glucose was given, cold cloths applied to my forehead, they removed my coat, monitored my pulse all the while keeping calm and professional and quickly dealing with me to help me come back round. When I did come back round they had a very sugary drink waiting for me and made sure I got it all in me. When I was feeling slightly better the lovely receptionist there (I'm sorry I can't remember name 😔) got me a slice of cake and sugary tea and they wouldn't let me leave without making sure I was 100% feeling better. Safe to say I will never go to a dentist without eating again. But the way they handled everything was just amazing! I cannot fault them! The staff there are so lovely and the dentist is amazing at what he does. Would also like to say thank you for keeping the kids entertained while I had my ordeal. Just thank you for everything! I really do appreciate it and the care I received was second to none. Amazing dentist Amazing staff Thank you all 😌

Hi again today don't answer phone at all just leave a voice message which they don't return and they don't even respond to my email. Are they for real ? I'd give them half a star or none if it were possible not impressed

Terrible ! referred by NHS 111 They just wanted to rush you in and out ... the filling lasted less than 48 hours. All contact numbers on internet do not work. Tooth pain is now worse and no means of contacting them to put their mess right. DO NOT LET THEM NEAR YOUR TEETH

Just got out from here after being referred by 111 for an abcess under my tooth, dentist took maybe 3 entire seconds before saying there was nothing they could do. I asked what can I do since I can't sleep due to pain and the dentist and nurse just repeated that they couldn't do anything. Apalling patient care and a complete lack of empathy, no wonder they wanted appointment payment prior to seeing me. Complete joke

I can not possibly give the service here any stars although i had yo, to post on here!! Absolutely shocking service during an emergency dental appointment. The dentist was extremely rude to my mum and showed no empathy at all. She was in so much pain and the dentist basically told her to go back to where the work had been carried out. It was the weekend so not an option and was sent home with no help she had 2 absesses when she finally got the help she needed. The dental nurse was the only positive throughout the experience who was kind. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Awesome. Staff weren't just professional but were also simply kind and genuine. Reception team and Doc explained everything very clearly, made no silly promises and did an amazing job at taking my tooth out in am emergency appointment. It was a tough job to get the tooth out and he never once showed frustration or reluctance to do the job. The reception team were friendly and honest and the dental assistant was helpful.
