The bone augmentation was performed with remarkable precision, and thanks to Dr. Nico’s thorough guidance, my recovery was smooth and stress-free. The final ceramic crown looks absolutely flawless—so natural that it blends seamlessly with my other teeth. Dr. Nico and the entire team were attentive, caring, and truly committed to my comfort and long-term dental health. If you’re considering advanced dental treatments, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Nico. His skill and dedication genuinely set him apart!

I do not typically leave reviews positive or negative however given my experience and the positive bias in reviews for London Dental Specialists (LDS) I would like to share my experience. I do not recommend dentistry procedures with LDS. Despite the prestige location and the qualifications held by Dr Nico I was consistently made uncomfortable by the lack of professionalism when it came to communication, patient care and my procedure. This undermined the confidence and credibility I had in him to perform an implant for me. The dental assistants are warm and friendly which is actually was why I continued with LDS for as long as I did, until I ultimately decided this was not the right practice for me to have the desired zirconia implant. I found my appointments consulting for removal of infected tooth and dental implant disorganised, disorientating and unclear. Appointments would almost always begin late and Dr Nico would have an unpredictable and reactive temperament making interactions awkward to get clear information on what various procedures entail, I would also have no point of reference of how long a given appointment would or should last. He also had a tendency to not have a calm temperament in the midst of procedures (ie my tooth removal) or other patient appointments and can be curt and reactive which is not reassuring to see his reaction under pressure. This creates a tense atmosphere based on the interactions he has with his staff or myself as the client. I had my first experience of a tooth extraction so cannot reference how a typical one should go however since moving to a dentist who I feel more comfortable with a scan confirmed significant bone loss/damage to the outer face of my jaw when I am a healthy young adult with healthy bone structure. This procedure was very traumatic. Email/phone communication for queries regarding treatment plans are often slow and discussed or agreed details don’t seem to be relayed or remembered during the appointment which can make things awkward come appointment. Pricing structure is also unclear I.e what was understood to be a free consult for my implant and a pre agreed free removal of a dental gem, when this detail was brought up during my appointment I was then later sent an £100 invoice without detail, that I sadly paid - this appointment was also then brought to an abrupt end with no walk through or clear consult of implant details or options and I was instead handed a printout of general information from the practice, I was also briefly told at the end that there may be a possibility I can’t get a zirconia implant (without reasoning given) when this was the sole reason I selected this practice. When I further enquired via email about the implant procedure I was directed to the practice website links only. *I encourage a portfolio of before and afters of your zirconia implant work as there are none I was able to find on your website, that in addition with your comment about me possibly not being able to get one really made me further question the credibility and legitimacy of this implant specialist in contrast with others. The removal of the dental gem was done very well, thank you. In summary, this outlines some of the reasons why unfortunately I would not encourage treatment with Dr Nico given the investment that dentistry involves professionalism and patient care I would expect to follow (I spent around £1k in appointments). Whilst I believe he has a care and concern for patients the manner in which he can do this does not come across well or reassuring. That and in contrast to my current implant specialist who has a lot of the sophisticated scan and modelling in house I have also found my patient experience night and day in all aspects. This review is not to personalise any criticism towards Dr Nico however highlight my concern and suggest him working within a practice with other dentists that may help him resolve and address some of my highlighted concerns. Wishing him and his practice the best and introspection and reflection to follow.

The way he carried out each procedure was not only technically excellent, but also incredibly careful, gentle and precise. Everything felt proper, professional and thoroughly thought through, which immediately gave me confidence in his work. What truly sets Dr. Nico apart is not just his skill as a specialised dentist, but the kind of person he is. He is a dependable and compassionate professional, approachable and sincere, with a profound commitment to his patients’ wellbeing. He takes the time to listen, to explain what he’s doing, and to make sure you feel comfortable and reassured every step of the way. You never feel rushed or like “just another patient” – you feel genuinely looked after. In the past, I have had very bad experiences with dentists. I would feel extremely nervous and scared before appointments, to the point where I would sometimes make up excuses just to avoid going. I did not trust dentists with my teeth and, over time, I developed a real phobia of dental visits. A close acquaintance of mine had been a patient of Dr. Nico’s long before I was and shared their experience with me, telling me how exceptionally good he is – far better than any other dentist they had seen. Hearing this is what finally convinced me to book an appointment with him and place my trust in his care. I honestly do not regret that decision I made. Because of his gentle approach, his patience, and his reassuring manner, I now feel the complete opposite of how I used to feel. I feel calm, safe and genuinely at ease in the chair – something I honestly never believed would be possible. For that, I am truly grateful. If I could, I would honestly give this great man 6 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend Dr. Nico to anyone, especially those who are anxious or fearful about seeing a dentist. He is an outstanding professional and a truly wonderful person, and I feel very fortunate to have found him. This is my second (follow-up) review for Dr Nico and the London Specialist Dentists which is my small way of saying a very big thank you to Dr Nico and his team for their ongoing expert care (please see my original review further down). I went to see Dr Nico after a very long search for an expert in zirconia implants and I couldn’t be more grateful that I found the London Specialist Dentists. Dr Nico is a dental surgeon in a league on his own. His knowledge and expertise in specialist and holistic dentistry are simply outstanding. He uses the latest materials and techniques, and has an impressive understanding of natural ingredients and healing products. His clinic is always spotless and because of its private set-up, always feels very welcoming and relaxing. For my implant, we chose the Z-systems ceramic zirconia implant as he advised this was the best in the world. The surgery could not have been a more pleasant experience, I had no discomfort during the procedure and needed minimum recovery time. Since I found Dr Nico, he is the only dentist I ever go to. He does my periodontal and deep cleaning and any other procedures I may require. His care and deep concern for his patients are truly amazing and, importantly, he is an incredibly kind person with a warm heart and very strong moral values – all of which make him as a person and as a dental specialist/surgeon very special. [original review] I had a biological tooth extraction with socket preservation at London Specialist Dentists and the care provided was exceptional, I cannot praise and thank Dr. Kamosi, Ruta and the rest of his team enough. They employed a gentle, holistic approach to ‘biological atraumatic extraction’, followed by ‘socket preservation’, utilising advanced techniques which support natural healing. The procedure was completely atraumatic and I experienced minimal swelling and zero complications. Dr Kamosi’s knowledge and experience in the field is second to none, he uses the very latest techniques and materials and also opened my eyes to a whole new world of products I didn’t know existed and all of which made a huge difference to my healing. I was also deeply impressed with the level of care and the depth of information he provided during our first consultation. Not only did he take all the time needed to answer my numerous questions, he also helped me understand what treatment was needed and why which meant that I went into the procedure confident knowing what to expect. I travelled a long distance to attend this clinic based on the written plan sent to me: a consultation and CBCT scan on 13th November, followed by treatment on 14th November. I arranged accommodation and travel specifically around this schedule. Despite this, after completing the consultation and travelling again to Harley Street for the CBCT scan (incurring additional time and cost), I was only informed later in the day that the treatment planned for the next morning would not proceed and that I now needed to wait a full week. This contradicted the written communication I had been given and caused unnecessary financial loss and inconvenience. I also felt the consultation lacked clarity and respect. When I attempted to ask questions or understand the CBCT findings, the explanations were vague, rushed, and difficult to follow. Additionally, I had sent my recent blood test results at the dentist’s request, yet these were not reviewed or discussed at all. Toward the end of the appointment, I was told the clinic was closing and felt pressured to leave, despite having travelled far and relying on the information the clinic had provided. Although my £100 deposit was eventually refunded, the overall experience reflected poor communication, inconsistency, and a lack of patient consideration. I am sharing this review so that future patients are aware and can make informed decisions.

I have been a patient at London Specialist Dentists for the past year or so and I have had quite a lot of work done. I have been very impressed by the advanced technical level in the practice and the diligent search for good and appropriate solutions. And also the prices are surprisingly low for such a posh part of town. And Dr Kamosi has an interesting line in conversation about medico-philosophical issues and indeed broader and tangential philosophical issues. All in all I would award five stars out of five.
