Wow !!! Just called to book an appointment for a check up . Spoke to Sarah ( receptionist) . Totally shocked at her tone of voice ! Felt like I had been chastised and clearly on the naughty step . I have been with this surgery for over 30 years and have never felt so upset , and shaken . I was clearly informed I had not attended appointments . I had informed the practice I would not be attending due to changes in work rotas . ( I was clearly told that I missed one with no reason ) I obviously was not aware of this all in the month of April 2025 . I asked to book the appointment and advised I had clearly been told off . Due to Sarah mannerism & tone . I said I would call and speak to Diane after Sarah said that I would have to attend this appointment as I have had a DNA . She then clearly advised me Diane would say the same . Diane may do so , I understand , but clearly said Diane would speak to me with a different tone . Please listen to the call ! I have been left in shock and shaking !!! At the way I have been spoken too I understand the pressure on the nhs & demand for dentist , I am a woman in my 60s and do not expect to be made to feel as if I had committed a crime . I have never had a problem with anyone in the dental practice before

I don't have a good translation. Since I got dentures, I've lost my appetite. I have to use glue to talk and eat. My teeth even stick out when I talk, which is very annoying. I hope I can find another dentist. Of course, they have a very good attitude, but they don't have a good work experience.

On 20 October, I attended my first appointment for a cracked tooth. The relevant doctor examined me, took X-rays and advised to book an appointment for extraction, which was scheduled for 3 November. During the two-week wait, I experienced ongoing discomfort and difficulty eating on one side. When I attended on 3 November, I was taken in five minutes late and told that the dentist had not been informed of my arrival. After assessment, I was advised that, due to the previous root canal and existing cavity, the tooth could snap during extraction, which might leave part of it behind. I was then offered two options: proceed with extraction under that risk or be referred to an external specialist. I chose the referral, but was told it may take several months. I wonder why this was not informed to me during my visit on 20 October, as the condition of the tooth was already clear. Instead, I waited two weeks for an appointment that could not proceed, causing not only prolonged discomfort and delay in treatment, but also unnecessary time off work. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed and if steps could be taken to ensure better communication and timely referrals for future patients. However, the front office staff was really helpful and considerate.

Finally found a wonderful dentist, who is not only skilled but treats his patients with care and compassion. I have rarely attended dentists as I have a clicking joint in my jaw, that can cause my jaw to lock open and /or be very painful, if I'm not able to rest it. Although I have always told past dentists this, many have simply ignored it. Dr Rakesh booked extra time for my appointment, stopped whenever I asked and was kind and considerate. I will not be going anywhere else! The rest of the team, receptionists and the dental nurses have been lovely too. Cannot praise this practice highly enough.

I honestly believe myDentist Kings Norton is the best dental practice in the UK. I travel all the way from London just to see my Dentist and my Hygienist here, thats how good they are! The team is incredibly kind, caring and truly accommodating by working outside of regular hours to fit me in. They always take the time to listen to my concerns and tailor the treatment to my needs and provide excellent treatment that's great value for money. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough for anyone looking for professional, compassionate, top quality dental care.
