I had an emergency appointment at this practice. So impressed. The receptionists were lovely. The dentist was fantastic...probably the nicest dentist I've ever been to....and did a great job on my teeth. So happy, grateful and relieved. Thank you ❤️

If I could give this practice zero stars I would. This practice is horrendous. They are more keen to remove teeth than treat and that’s if you can get an appointment. I’ve rang in extreme pain to be told ring back in two months to see if a appointment is available, I’ve been given 4 different prices, including £80 to be seen then any treatment on top. I’ve rang endless times in pain to be told ring 111, I’ve rang 111 to be told if you have a dentist they have to see you, once 111 have rang the practice complaining they miraculously find you a appointment. Avoid at all costs as they won’t see you even if in pain. No compassion at all.

Always have a witness with you when dealing with the reception staff. The dental staff are amazing but one of the receptions (name beginning with M) was very rude to me when she messed up my enquiry and kept interrupting and talking over me. When I did the same in return she told me not to be so rude! I put in a complaint to the practice manager who completely took M’s sides without investigating it properly and especially when there was nobody to back up what She had said. My son was there and as we left even he asked me “why was that lady being rude”. Only use Manor Road dentist if you cannot get in anywhere else. And make it clear yoy intend to record then conversation

Thank you so much at Manor Road dentist, at 65 I now have the smile I’ve always wanted. It’s taken a year of fortnightly visits, which has gone amazingly fast, finance was arranged monthly which is such a big help. Great service and a special thank you to Helen and Lowri for their professionalism throughout the whole process.

Been paying on a monthly plan for many years and been a patient at the practice since I started walking. Trying to get through to a receptionist for 30 minutes. Would’ve been quicker for me to walk over. Decided I’d probably have more luck if I went in to make the appointment. Was told by receptionist to sit and wait as they were busy, waited another 10 minutes before finally being served. Phones constantly ringing without being answered, not very reassuring if you had an emergency. When I eventually got an appointment for my check up, they told me I needed 3 fillings. Have since moved to another dentist who told me I only needed 1 filling and needed a problematic wisdom tooth out as it is effecting the tooth next to it. According to your dentist this tooth was completely fine and was advised against taking it out. I’m glad I saved my teeth from the unnecessary work you told me I needed. My scale and polish was not done properly too, as I am told I have remaining plaque on parts of my teeth. Good luck getting through to the receptionists, and hope they don’t cancel on you last minute which I also experienced. This was my experience as a private patient.

Terrible dentist! All they do is pull teeth out! Cancel appointment then blame you! Never answer the phone! Do not advices?

Waited an hour for an emergency appointment but other than that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the dentist and assistants were amazing with my son who has autism and adhd. Thanks so much very impressed!! Made things super easy for us

Was given this contact via NHS there, had 3 decayed teeth was allowed to have 1 extracted though clearly the X ray didn’t reveal anything wrong though had noticed the Dentist did ask which 1 that required attention as I’m not a dentist decided to listen to the lady Dentist, who explained that NHS would pay for 1 extraction so I’d taken out a dental plan though after price compared what’s available online it seemed excessive for 1 person to pay £32 a month though I’d last seen a dentist it wasn’t that long ago. Though now it’s all about Co-vid as the Brit exit has turned into a disaster.

I was sent here by nhs 111 they were all very friendly and welcoming. I have a phobia off the dentist but they made me feel at ease and calm the whole time would deffo recommend them
