I had a very disappointing experience during my recent visit. The receptionist repeatedly asked for my name over the phone, and when I raised my voice slightly so she could hear me better, she began shouting at me not to shout — which was unnecessary and unpleasant. When I arrived, the dentist appeared uninterested in helping and showed little empathy, even though I was in severe pain from an infected wisdom tooth. Despite already being on antibiotics for three days, I was told to continue for another five before they would even consider a referral. The dentist repeatedly suggested going private for an extraction instead. As someone who works within the NHS myself, I understand system pressures, but I still expected a more caring and professional approach. Overall, I left feeling dismissed and disappointed.

It's ok, handy being in town. It dose have a lower floor and stairs, Bit of a pain for me but in general it's a dentist, not a fun thing - a necessity. So glad it's there when you realy need it.

Today 29 sep 25. It was a terrible service attitude from the receptionist. In my particular case, the one who seems Asian or Chinese has an attitude that seems discriminatory with some, she is kind to others, acting as if she were superior. What ignorance! So with that bad attitude, she told me to sign a paper and I told her, "I heard you the first time, since I was busy with my crying toddler." I said, "Wait, in fact, you ignore people and are rude." And the Chinese or Asian woman started yelling at me when she has been like this. Then the other receptionist got up and came to me saying that I should be the one to stop yelling and that if I have a problem, I should write the manager an email. What? Any way, an email that you can't find on the website and they don't give you, and of course you don't know recepnists names as they dont use badges. If this is the face of the business, I would tell you that it stinks. You better find another dentist where they respect you, are neutral, kind, and have a better service attitude. However, I must say that these receptionists were simply unprofessional, if they have any technical expertise at all. The dental service was excellent; in my case, very friendly, professional, and diligent.

My dentist Imran Quasem is great. He’s very reassuring as I’m a nervous patient and my old dentist has retired(only had one dentist since childhood) I’m happy with the service quick and efficient but you are listened to at the same time 😊

Visited Puresmile in Reading Town Centre after it was recommended. It was the most pleasing dentist visit I have had. The reception staff is friendly. The wait times were like in other dentists in the area. The dentist I saw, Dr Babuta, was so friendly. She explained the procedures in detail, every step of the way. Although visits to the dentists aren't something to look forward to, I have already booked my next dental appointment :)

I would like to thank the reception team and Mohammed the dentist in being so caring and understanding alongside with bringing so professional in attending to my sons needs for his tooth whilst keeping us updated all the time by going out of the way to see things are fine properly.i highly recommend them

They make every visit feel smooth and stress-free, from booking appointments to checking in. I had a wonderful experience at Pure Smile Dentist. The hygienists, Safa and Zahra, were incredibly welcoming and made the whole teeth cleaning process feel comfortable and easy. They were both gentle, professional, and genuinely caring throughout. The reception team were, as always, really helpful and polite - it’s nice how they make the effort to be warm and approachable when you arrive.It’s that kind of consistent care that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!
