I had an emergency dentist appointment after experiencing some dental grief after moving from university. NHS 111 directed me to this dental practice & they were genuinely incredible. Jamie & Laura saw to be professionally, answering any questions I had and thoroughly checking everything that was of concern. They were even able to fit me into another appointment slot to ensure that I got the thorough treatment and care I needed without going back through NHS111. Dental stuff can be incredibly daunting to a student away from home, but genuinely can’t thank Jamie & Laura enough for their kindness and professionalism today. :)

I had approached this dental practice with concerns over my teeth. I had bowed & wonky teeth, but with a great team of Orthodontists, and a few months of Invisalign and care, my teeth are now in perfect form. I'm really happy with the outcome, and would highly recommend these guys for your teeth care.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my deposit was handled during my orthodontic treatment at this practice. I visited three times for orthodontic care and paid a £20 deposit: First visit: I was referred to the hygienist for a cleaning. When I asked if the cleaning cost would be taken from my deposit, I was told no—that the deposit would be kept specifically for the orthodontist. Second visit: The orthodontist referred me to another dentist in the same practice for a filling. Again, when I paid, I was assured that my deposit would remain untouched and held for the orthodontist. Although I felt uneasy, I trusted the staff’s word. Third visit: My orthodontic appointment was cancelled without any explanation. When I tried to book a new appointment, I was told I would need to pay another deposit. I explained that I had already paid one, but was informed that it had been deducted from a “new account” and that the confusion was due to a new staff member. I am absolutely certain that when I asked earlier, I was clearly told my original deposit was still in place. I have been given inconsistent and misleading information, and as a result, my £20 deposit has effectively been taken without justification. This is unacceptable. I expect a full explanation and a refund of my deposit. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will share my experience publicly to warn others.

Awful service and extremely unhelpful receptionist. I tried several times to get in touch by phone to reschedule my appointment no one ever answered. A week later, I finally got through, only to be offered a single slot that clashed with my school run. The whole experience was very disappointing, especially considering the cost (£85 just for a short consultation and prescription). The surgery itself felt outdated, with old chairs and technology that didn’t inspire confidence. Overall, a very poor experience and definitely not somewhere I would recommend for a medical appointment.

I have always been very nervous of the dentist, during being housebound when my son was terminal my original dentist struck me off as I couldn’t stick to my monthly check ups, even after explaining my situation as I was housebound. Although my original dentist made me anxious every time I went for a check up or treatment. Was not sympathetic to nervous patients at all. I couldn’t find another nhs dentist for years and obviously my teeth were then in awful condition and desperately wanted to see a dentist but couldn’t find one locally. After a couple years I saw that Bournemouth Dental Centre was taking on new nhs patients. From the first phone call to seeing the dentist Jamie it has been a breeze, I obviously needed/need a-lot of treatment but straight away Jamie and the dental nurse put me at ease straight away. During treatment didn’t feel any injections and Jamie explained everything as he went along. Jamies team are amazing and wish I had found the clinic sooner, I can’t ever thank them all enough, especially Jamie and the dental nurse.

I have been using this dental practice for the last few years and recently completed my Invisalign treatment. I have found all the staff to be welcoming, attentive, and genuinely nice people to work with, while also maintaining a high level of professionalism. I would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hardip Dhatt, who guided me through the Invisalign process and made each appointment a pleasure. The process was straightforward and well-explained, and I am delighted with the results. I used to dread visiting the dentist, but this practice has completely changed my perspective. I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking top-notch care in a warm and welcoming environment.
