If I could rate it lower I would Worst dentist practice I have ever been to. Most of the receptionists there are rude and make you feel stupid if you ask them any questions. The dentist was supposed to do a root canal for me but she couldn’t even get to the tooth bc apparently my jaw is not replaced right all other dentist have worked on my tooth just fine The dental assistant however was really nice and kind she made sure I was comfortable. And not to forget I have called them to get my X-rays sent to me and they told me to send an email as proof I have asked for them than I will get them. Than I waited for a day no reply so I called again the next day and they said they will talk for the dentist as they can’t access and they will call me back I didn’t get a call back so I had to call again and she said I had to wait 40 days?? I told her it was urgent but she didn’t care I know how clinics work it doesn’t take 40 days to access X-rays they just don’t wanna do their jobs. Hated my experience there never going there again!

A wonderful experience at Manchester Dental Practice with Dr. Mariam. She is such a breath of fresh air, instantly makes you feel comfortable, knew exactly what I wanted following a consultation and I couldn’t be happier with my composite bonding results. Would highly recommend.

I was removed from the patient registry without any prior notice, and there was no consideration given to the impact of COVID restrictions. When I called to explain my situation and ask for guidance, the receptionist abruptly ended the call instead of offering assistance. I’d like to clarify a few things regarding my situation. At the time of my last appointments, there were still COVID-related restrictions in place, along with changes to my work schedule, which meant I had to move some of the dates. Your reception team were very understanding and accommodating about this at the time, and I appreciated their flexibility. However, I was never informed that my registration could be removed or that I needed to rebook within a certain timeframe to remain on the patient list. Had I received any such warning, I would have arranged to attend as soon as possible. What’s most disappointing is that when I recently called to explain and ask for guidance, the receptionist ended the call abruptly instead of offering any advice or support. Regardless of policy, I don’t believe that’s how patients should be treated, especially after being with the practice for several years. Amazing, my partner saw Dr Simmonds in an emergency case for severe pain and probably infection. She is kind, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. We're very grateful to her for her help - this is an excellent dental practice and the reception staff were also lovely - thank you!

I wanted to write a review about the Hygienist at this practice, Lawrence Ockerby. He is such a caring person, if you have any concerns he goes out of his way to make you comfortable, he's very good at his job and happy to explain how you can improve your dental hygiene. I've been with Lawrence for around 2 years now, my teeth have seen the benefit of that. I'd highly recommend if you need help or advice to get an appointment with him.

PLEASE SEE IMAGE BRIBED ME TO REMOVE THIS REVIEW FOR MY REFUND I sent 2 queries regarding the fact I’m on the NHS list and you are charging full price to people and it needs resolving no one bothered to get back to my first one so I resent one still heard nothing back and then was advised that there’s a hygienist and a dentist and they basically choose whenever they want to charge you full price or not (not stable and helpful for anyone in NHS) what do you really think they are going to choose on every occasion UPDATE They are not understanding and not sorry more on the argumentative side and are ok with putting NHS patients under pressure and being fully willing to have you cancel appointments not letting you know it’s meant to be free because and avoid dentist for fees you can’t afford manager is only in 2 days quick with responses but not really useful responses as they are more argumentative and “we did it right” responses also now is basically saying if you do t do me a favour and take this down then I won’t refund you cancelled my appointment for tomorrow because I asked for my money back from the misadvise and now they’ve taken their response down to this review wonder why

I would avoid this place. Every time I arrive I don’t get seen till at least 10-20 minutes after with a couple time being 30-45 minutes, regardless of who I am seeing. I was late once (usually 10-20 minutes early, occasionally just on time), and they were unable to see me. Arrived at 10:11 and they have a 10 minute leeway. I called up and informed them due to temporary traffic lights I would be running slightly late. Funny thing, the receptionists were chatting and didn’t speak to me till until 10:15. Honestly, not worth the stress. Think I’m done at this point lol. I will be registering elsewhere in hopes of better service. As good as the dentists are, it’s best to find somewhere that would be more accommodating and understanding.

Amazing practice, immaculate with super friendly staff from the reception, assistants to the actual dentist. Luckily I have Philippa as my regular dentist and she is amazing at what she does, always polite, professional and does a fantastic job. I have referred a few people here as I wouldn't want to use anywhere else. Thank you team.
