Been going here for around 2 years now. As a women who is terrified of any treatment due to previous history the staff here have went above and beyond for me time and time again ensuring that I am comfortable, safe and anxiety free during my appointments. My dentist Ross is great! Takes his time and explains everything in detail and gives you plenty of breaks and the option to stop at any point if I get too nervous or sore. I have been to many dentists over the years and I have to say this is by far the most safe and look after I have felt during dental treatment. Receptionist is also lovely always greets with a smile and is happy to accommodate and help over the phone when needed. Would I recommend this surgery? Absolutely I would yes.

Brilliant place. Would highly recommend. Great people and service. Quality dentists with expert skills and well priced if getting any private work done. I've had my fillings replaced with white and other cosmetic work all done to a very high standard by Dr Arran Lang.

⭐ Complaint Review – Extremely Disappointed with Emergency Care and Lack of Support I’m extremely disappointed with the service we received from Linwood Dental Care and the wider emergency dental support system. I’m writing this review not out of anger, but out of deep concern and frustration as a parent who tried everything to get proper care for her injured child. Recently, my son had a serious accident with his scooter and completely knocked out one of his front teeth. We rushed to the emergency department, where the tooth was reimplanted – but under very basic conditions. The staff repeatedly told us they could only provide “basic” emergency services. The treatment was carried out in a regular patient room using equipment from a plastic box – not even in a proper dental room. We were told to call our local dentist first thing the next morning to make sure the tooth was correctly repositioned – and that if it wasn’t, it could be redone. We called Linwood Dental Care immediately on Friday (23rd), only to be told there were no available appointments until the following Wednesday. I explained the situation in detail – that my child had a traumatic injury, part of his gum was missing, and we just needed someone to check the emergency work had been done correctly. I was emotional, not rude – just a worried mum trying to get help. Instead of understanding, I was asked the same questions over and over and told to calm down. No flexibility, no sense of urgency, no offer to fit us in even for five minutes. I was even willing to pay privately if needed – still, nothing. This isn’t the first time this practice has let us down. In the past, when we needed urgent help for our son, we ended up paying over £700 privately because Linwood couldn’t assist us. To make things worse, on the Bank Holiday Monday, the wire holding the reimplanted tooth became loose – and Linwood was closed. A different clinic in the area, where we’re not even registered, kindly helped us and re-glued the wire within five minutes. That small act meant everything. We finally had our appointment at Linwood on Wednesday, but left without clear answers,we explained that later on he is going to a private clinic for a panaromic exrey. Thankfully, the appointment with private clinic, where they did 3D scan and confirmed the tooth was not properly reimplanted, and that if it had been repositioned earlier, the chances of saving it would’ve been much higher. Today (Wednesday 29th), the wire came loose again, and once again, Linwood refused to see us. Apparently, all emergency slots were taken – no flexibility, not even for a five-minute fix. We were just told to be careful, even though this wire is supposed to protect the tooth until proper treatment is done. This whole experience has been traumatic – for both me and my son. We felt completely unsupported in a very stressful time. Sadly, this is not about protocol – it’s about compassion, care, and doing the right thing. Sometimes five minutes is all a parent is asking for. I hope this review encourages the practice to reflect on how they treat urgent cases – especially involving children. A bit of empathy and flexibility would go a long way. Right now, I have very little confidence that this practice is able – or willing – to help when it truly matters.

After recently moving to the practice I couldn't have had a better experience. Angela the practice manager is absolutely lovely and very welcoming. My dentist Alice and dental nurse Sydney were fantastic, great at talking you through each step, putting you at ease and clearly very skilled. I felt no pain at all and definitely don’t dread going to the dentist as much!

The very best experience I have had in Scotland with a dental practice. I have “tried” a couple of other dental practices in the area the past….pre COVID but I have to say the care and professionalism I have experienced with this practice far surpasses any of those. From check in at reception to seeing my assigned dentist, Dr Alice Mackintosh and her assistant(s) I am truly impressed. Thank you all.

Would recommend Linwood Dental Care to anyone. As someone who used to be extremely scared of the dentist, my feelings have completely changed! Zander is not only a great dentist but also a lovely calming personality. Zander talks through every step, which definitely helps to ease any anxiety. Angela and all of the staff at Linwood Dental Care are fantastic at what they do!

Don't bother, went for a routine checkup one day to a nurse thinking she's house of the dentist world but more like a butcher and She said oh that tooth needs to come out and when doing it had to literally step on my chest and my tooth shatter in my mouth and still in agony with it by the gap were the tooth was still hurts and has a numbing pain. Ment to have a follow up which obviously never came and I moved dentist for my own sake. AVIOD IF YOU WANT TO HAVE SOME TEETH LEFT.
