I have been registered with this dentist for many years with my children who are now grown up, I called to make an appointment for the 2nd part of a root canal for my adult son who had the first part done at an emergency dentist (he’s a HGV driver so couldn’t call whilst driving) it is impossible because we are registered there as NHS so I asked if I can pay private with them to get this done with them, I have never had a root canal so asked the procedure, what steps are taken to carry this out and was told next available appointment to do the root canal is about 5/6 weeks away even when paying private, then I was told someone would call me back but no one did so called 3 days later to book the appointment, receptionist said hold on and put me on silent, came back and was extremely hostile and so rude, (just like I’ve heard them gossiping about people when sat in reception waiting for hygiene appointments) I asked if there was a problem and she said no but she had to talk with the dentist when she’s back from lunch to ask if she can carry out the 2nd part of the treatment because she might not be able to, I’m really confused as the emergency dentist will not do the 2nd part and I don’t understand why she would have to ask a dentist if she can do it, clearly there is an issue but I have no idea what it is as she was really hostile, seems very strange to refuse treatment with no reason why, my son hasn’t been for years as it’s impossible to get an appointment there so not like he’s done anything wrong, he hasn’t been there to do anything wrong, well it’s now 17:15 and guess what, no call back again

More than happy to add another one star review for this surgery. As per other customer reviews we have been left high and dry by what can only be regarded as morally devoid practices. Series of cancelled appointments with no explanation over 2 years. Then told will only take private appointments. Then they want all the money up front in advance for an appointment. Queried this and they just dont care. No other local surgery I have contacted ask for payment up front. Honestly a horrific organisation and id highly suggest avoiding. The actual treat if you can ever get there is good, but the service and management is dire so quite why they think we would return to them privately is anyones guess. Dont use them, I am contacting the NHS to push for removal of the authority to do NHS work and the wider franchise. Ill go and find a surgery where the management care. Bye.

Previously I would have given 5 stars, but after 2 years of cancelled regular appointments, finally when I have a broken tooth and they fob me off again I am done. They have no care for their patients unless they pay privately.

Our children haven't been seen in 2 years with them keep cancelling appointments. It shows a lot about how the business operates ethically that they're no longer willing to fulfill the NHS contracts, putting profits far ahead and stringing along loads of people for years at the cost of children's tooth health.

Practice really needs air conditioning when you visit the dentist for treatment you expect to be comfortable especially as some of the treatment rooms have no windows or ventilation Staff and treatment is excellent
