Went today for second treatment, the receptionist very friendly and the dentist done fantastic job ,also was very gentle as I was worried about the injection and drilling I had no need to be ,his assistant was also very nice , like to say big thankyou to them

I've been at this dentist for 47 years as a NHS patient. This has proved challenging over recent years as a check up was no longer available to NHS patients. Each time I visited which was only available when work on my teeth was required I asked for a checkup and was repeatedly told it wasn't available. Last week I phoned as I had a cracked tooth. The receptionist told me I was no longer on their books as I hadn't visited for just over 2 years. She said they had recently changed their policy on NHS patients and check ups were now available and as I hadn't booked they've taken me off their books. What happened to the dentists that used to communicate with the patient and send an appointment or even tell you the policy had changed, the cynic in me wonders if this is their way of getting rid of their NHS patients. The receptionist also told me they were not taking any new clients, she wasn't interested that I had a cracked tooth, just wanted to tell me I was no longer on their books and no right of appeal. I see other comments on the receptionist, I'm not sure if this was the same one but she's really doing a terrible job of representing the dentist, I wonder if the dentists realise what is being said to their clients?

I have been with this dentist for years, and on the NHS, but just because i havnt contacted them for two years they have taken me of the list, probably because ive looked after my teeth and had no need to, i had a bit of toochache, called them ,. and they said no sorry as not been in touch, disgusting

Went yesterday for a checkup. After reading some bad reviews I was a bit wary, but there was no need to be. The ladies on reception were very polite and friendly, and I had a lovely conversation with one of them whilst waiting for my appointment. Overall a very pleasant, relaxing experience which is what you need in a dental surgery.

Smile milehouse dental-surgery. Yet another cancelled appointment for partner. This dental practice is so far removed from how it used to be. You manage to book after endlessly trying to get through for days / weeks eventually book an appointment although the wait for this appointment is weeks and weeks away then on the day it is cancelled so the process starts again, and again it is cancelled so you are already looking at months and months wait. It’s poor to think we are in a situation with having a bad dental practice is better than none at all. What has it come to ! Once a reputable Dental surgery now sadly appalling.

Now this is no reflection on the dentist or the assistant they both were lovely and very helpful and understanding and I’d give them 5stars. However one of the receptionist was unbelievably offensive towards people on benefits. Namely universal credit. To quote after a gentleman just left the practice “ha another one coming back on universal credit, no suprise there” in a sarcastic voice. The other reception seemed a little uneasy and tried to correct her by saying well maybe there on low income or have a family. Either way the ladies general views about people on UC was very judgmental and totally unprofessional and looking at the other reviews it seems it’s not uncommon here unfortunately. It’s a shame as like I said the dentist staff were very good.

Removed from their patient list without warning! No email, no call, nothing — only found out when I rang about my next appointment. Left without a dentist through no fault of my own. Completely unacceptable.
