Similar to other reviews here, wiped off the books as we'd not booked in for a couple of years, the receptionist seemed rather pleased to tell me. My wife had been going to that location for 54 years, since she had her first milk teeth, and that's how they chose to treat her and us. Horrid.

I have been at this practice since the age of 5 i am 63 now. My last check up was 2023 at no point since has anyone contacted me for another check up ( which since going private but keeping nhs patients check up was switched to every 2yrs) i presented at the surgery today with a very swollen face and in pain to be told i am no longer a patient !!!! As i havent been in since June 2023 , apparently its SMILES policy to just wipe you off their books without so much as an email, txt or phonecall . The ethos of this company is absolutely disgusting, i was told after the june 2023 appoint i would get recalled but children were being prioritised .I would urge no one to attend this practice the care and compassion is nil , shame on you all and smile as a caring dentist dont waste you time. I went to NUVO dentist immediately after and altho they had no appointments left saw how bad my face was and agreed it couldnt be left and saw me and treated me. I had double tooth infection for which they started me on antibiotics so grateful to NUVO .so take smile doesnt actually care at all .DISGUSTING

I have seen a dentist here today and I could not fault the service. The dentist and nurse was very calming towards me as a was nervous. Reception weee very friendly and walking as they could see I was nervous too

I'm not a lover of dentists, but I think mine is lovely. She listens, also gentle, never been a problem. I've been going there for years

After COVID and change of hands first from the original dentists retirements then Bupa taking over I was pleased to learn that Smile would be keeping all their patients on their books as I was told by letter and receptionist when I rang to ask when they would be seeing patients again and was told that children were first priority then the practice would then see adults. I rang again this week and was told by a receptionist that I was no longer on the list. I found the receptionist to be quite rude and blase in her manner and was informed that they were not responsible for the managements decisions. They did not notify me in writing of this which would have been the professional way of conducting a business.

Very happy with my experience here. I was a bit nervous due to needing a filling. I haven’t had one in years. Everyone from the receptionist through to the Dentist and Nurse were very professional. My Dentist and his nurse were kind and caring. No pain whatsoever. The Dentist also explained about potential future treatment due to findings on my X-ray. Would definitely recommend Nilan as a Dentist and his nurse.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I have been a patient here since I was about 6, 7 years old and it used to be brilliant. They’d sent out letters, text messages with the check up appointment. I go up there today only to find I am no longer on the list by the most miserable member of staff who just couldn’t care less. ‘You have been removed from the system’ When my original dentist retired I was told I’d be assigned a new dentist. Didn’t hear anything at all so I phoned up and assured me it was being dealt with. Then Covid came along and I phoned up during this AGAIN and they said I was still on the system but they weren’t doing check ups at the time. I then phoned again a year after and they said I’d still be in the system and that they would get around to check ups. She didn’t even ask for my details though so blatantly just lying to get me off the phone. This never happened and I’ve just been up today to find that 1) I’m not on the system. And 2) cannot get back on. This is truly disgusting. I have always been more than happy to attend appointments but never received any correspondence or warnings that I’d be removed from the system, despite chasing it a few times. Avoid this place at all costs.

After not being able to get an appointment for the last 2 plus years I rang today to try again as I've heard that friends and family have finally been able to book to then be told I'm not registered because I haven't made appointment in the last 2 years. Well this isn't for the want of trying and I have always been told no because of Covid and then no dentist etc etc. when I mentioned that my daughter was also in the same situation as me but she had been given an appointment for the end of the month as well as other ppl I know. The practice manager rang my daughter cancelling her appointment (they had already booked her in for at the end of January with no mention of this to her)and struck her off.. we haven't had any correspondence notifying us of this in writing (I believe this should be 3 months notice)and have patiently waited to be able to book appointments and now we are left with no dentist no advice on our dental records and I feel very unprofessional conduct from the practice manager. Smile certainly hasn't put a smile on my face

Terrible treatment of patients that have been registered since 2002. ‘Removed from the system’ as they have too many patients, with no communication of this change provided. They only inform you ‘when you call to book an appointment’ that you are no longer registered.
