The dentists is fantastic here. Very helpful. It's been McCartney until he retired and two other dentists Christina and Rheo (I hope I've got there names correct) both kind and helpful. Professional dentist. From a previous comment from someone else about the receptionist I have to say she was terrible. Awful person, no epthany what so ever. Not friendly, approachable and not chatty at all (all the things a receptionist needs to be in this job) a face like a bursted boot. Never smiled. I thought how on earth did she get this job. Her body language was go away I can't be bothered. At that time I thought the practice has lost the personal touch and I really missed McCartney wife receptionist (when she retired) at a time I really really needed help from a dentist. The personal touch was gone and I didn't get the help I needed. I had run in with that receptionist when I needed another emergency appointment. I was in agony. She told me they couldn't help me. No more they can do. I cried and felt she was cruel. I Went to GP who was shocked at that when I told her what the receptionist did. I had to get pain relief (strong antibiotics on prescription) until I sorted insurance to go private. I couldn't get past the receptionist to get to the dentist. She said you have already had an emergency appointment and there is no more they could do for me. She said this came from dentist but I knew she lied to me. I got no joy passing her to speak to the dentist. She said I had to wait to my next appointment at Xmas (which was my checkup that I went too past there). I said to her I need a prescription (stronger antibiotics that you can't buy over the counter) and she said take paracetamol (which didn't touch the sides). I ended up going private through works health insurance to get help at that time. I have to say when I went back for a checkup 6 months later that terrible receptionist was gone. Check up was good, no issues as Bupa dentist sorted my issue 6 months prior. Another new girl receptionist told me she just started and getting to know the job. What a lovely mannerism and bubble personality. A bit of chat is what was needed to put everyone at ease. Such a difference to the outlook of the company. I was thinking of leaving the practice cos of what I experienced. I was intending to tell dentist what happened to me on my last visit at Xmas time. I didn't report her to the dentist on my last visit as the old bag receptionist left so no point bringing it up. She gone. I hope the new receptionist loves the job and stays as she give me a warm welcome at the door and a good impression for the company. I hope they see this review so they know what happened to me. I hope they learn from past mistakes hiring a receptionist that is not a good fit for the job. 😁 I give 5 stars as my last visit was excellent and the warm welcome I received. I didn't want to base my stars on the old bag receptionist. Just to note she doesn't get any stars

As someone who has severe dental trauma, I honestly cannot recommend Rheo enough. I’m half way through my treatment plan and she has honestly been the most empathetic , professional and gentle dentist I’ve ever been to. She has made coming to the dentist a lot less stressful for me and I’m absolutely delighted with my results so far. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

The dentists are fantastic. Had great care and would give it 5 stars, unfortunately the receptionist is not very nice and difficult to deal with. This loses the practice a lot of rating as more then half the time you're trying to deal with her, with no success.

Would like to say a very big thankyou to DR RHEO I had to travel back to the practice on 6 occasions for to get treatment DR RHEO is very polite very professional and went the extra bit to make sure her work DR RHEO carried out was very satisfactory which to me was I couldn't have ask for a better dentist and staff and yes I would recommend the practice because it's not the practice is good it's the dentist and staff that runs the practice that makes it work and the owner of the premises is very lucky to have the dentists and staff they have because they are very hard to find so many thanks DR RHEO
