I was referred to Richard for a report on a upper implant bridge my old dentist had fitted that I was not happy with. What a lovely lovely man and extremely experienced and talented dentist he is! He was amazing on my initial appointment, said to me, you don't need to be a dentist to see that is wrong & wrote a thorough report for my old, now retired dentist. She was happy to give the money I paid her to Richard to sort it out, knowing I was in safe hands. I am the worst patent in the world, I pity the dentists who have to put up with me, I'm so nervous. I love that after he took the bridge off, he realised how nervous I was and not the confident person I presented as. He actually said that, something like 'now that I've got to know you better, I will numb your mouth before I do any work in future'. How good is that! So last week I got my bridge refitted by Richard and he indeed did numb my mouth, he was very good with the injections, I didn't feel them if I'm honest. The new bridge is fab, fits perfectly and is settling in great, with minimal discomfort afterwards. Aftercare wise, he's made me an appointment for a follow up in a month, something my old dentist never did. I feel like I got excellent care and treatment at my old dentist, however it was just a better experience overall with the lovely Mr Hale. He's got himself a new client for life, whether he wants me or not! I was really worried about replacing my old retired dentist, as she was an excellent dentist but I have found better now! I also had a hygienist visit with Cottage Dental hygienist and she was amazing, the best clean I've ever had and will be seeing her every 6 months going forwards. The practice manager is lovely and helpful; just like my old practice manager. I feel like I am in safe hands here! Thanks Richard and your lovely team!

I recently had an implant placed and was very impressed with the overall service I received . The reception team were very professional and the dental nurse Megan was friendly and put me at ease. All aspects of the treatment was fully explained and the overall procedure was pain free. I would highly recommend the Cottage dental.

Up to this week, we had good service but all that changed.We discovered that the prices had increased by 50% in 3 years.I queried this and was told they were now owned by a company and had decided to raise prices in line with other practices in the area.No warning or communication of the changes given in advance.Not prepared to budge on anything.That’s it!When I informed them I’d be changing, they just said ok that’s fine!Have changed to Bupa who said quite a few people had transferred.

I booked in for a family appointment with Dr.Eddie and Emma today after hoping to move to a dentist closer to home. I am over the moon and so pleased we have found this dentist. This is beyond doubt the friendliest dental practise I have ever been to. Eddie and Emma made us all feel so comfortable and at ease (which is the opposite to how I usually feel at the dentist). Eddie was so knowledgeable and talked through the different treatment options and explained everything and how we could proceed, explaining which treatments would be best to do first. I have booked in for my next apportionment and I’m absolutely over the moon I came here today. Thanks so much Eddie and Emma!
