I paid £75 for the consultation, which is supposed to last 30 minutes but the doctor did nothing except write a treatment plan in just 5 minutes. When I tried to book a follow-up appointment, the reception staff were very rude, unhelpful, and refused to arrange a time that suited my needs. Their attitude was disrespectful and unprofessional. Truly I felt disrespected by them and I wouldn’t come here again!

The standards of this practice have declined significantly. I have been a patient here for years and had two excellent dentists. Unfortunately, after my dentist left the practice, I had to switch from being an NHS patient to a private one. I scheduled a private appointment with Dr. Mohammed and was very disappointed with the experience. Despite informing him that I am after pregnancy and that my teeth had change in appearance, he did not take any X-rays and suggested I only book a hygienist appointment as my teeth is fine ( even I could see black marks on the back). I didn't believe his assessment, so I sought a second opinion. The second dentist performed an X-ray and discovered that four of my teeth needed attention. Additionally, the receptionist never sent me a letter to cancel my hygienist appointment. While I received a refund, there was no compensation for my petrol costs or the time I invested in visiting the practice. The receptionist seemed indifferent to my concerns. I would highly recommend staying away from this practice due to their declining standards. They are not helpful, and even as a private patient, I received incorrect recommendations. I'm much happier at my new practice, where I'm receiving the level of service I'm paying for.

If you can choose another dentist then do. Similar to other patients on here my filling was done badly and when I went back for a check I was told it was nothing, then went back again a couple of weeks later and was told it was just a gum inflammation and i was given some mouthwash, and had to fight not to be charged for the appointment. I then went to a different dentist which said the filling failed and it had to be redone after only 2 months

Awful and unpleasant experience. We are old age pensioners and are not as spritely as we would like. One and a half hour treatment £1,800 We paid £600 up front, obvious genuine customers. Straight after the treatment, demands for full payment with repeated threats of bailiffs supposedly to make us feel terrified and guilty for not paying straight away. I explained we were waiting for a cheque to clear. More threats of setting the bailiffs onto us, company policy! I was told repeatedly. So kind and understanding? Incredible ignorance and bad practice. Turkey here we come.

Had a filling done in the last couple weeks and a check up before that, service was excellent and treatment was top quality. Not too expensive in comparison to other options as well👏

Until a year ago, we would have given this practice five stars for the marvelous NHS care we received. In my case I had been with them since the 1990s, and had grown to trust them. You need to have trust in your dentist: all our trust in this practice has been undermined by how they treated us over the last 18 months. Their communications and attitude since our existing dentist left has been abysmal. First they 'postponed' the check-ups without telling us our dentist had left. They kept saying 'call back in 3 months'. It was only after one of us went in person to sort things out that they admitted our dentist had left, tried to upsell us private work, and told us to go on the national NHS waiting list to get a new dentist. The practice had effectively dropped us unless we were willing to go private with them. They've now been in touch expecting me to book a check-up: it was only after I said we had gone private elsewhere that they said it was an NHS check-up. Before the Pittar Chambers practice was absorbed by the my dentist chain, they had been marvelous. We stuck with them after the takeover because of the trust that had been built up. Over the last 18 months they have not communicated honestly with us so we simply cannot trust them to provide us with reliable, regular treatment.

Gave me 10 minutes notice that my appointment would cost over £200 rather than an nhs referral as I'd had to rearrange the appointment because my children were sick.

Super happy with the service. 2 wisdom tooth extractions and a filling all in 1 hour. Absolutely no pain and at all. Sarah was brilliant. Thank you to all the team 🌟🙏

The treatment of private patients is shocking. I paid for a filling that was either not done/fell out pretty much immediately after my visit. The dentist agreed to either replace the filling or offered a refund. Since I have moved 4 hours away I accepted the refund. I was happy with the service up until this point; however, the office manager Jane has started ignoring my emails and dodging my phone calls. I have explained I have moved away and it is physically impossible for me to come in for a refund. I have provided my bank details and offered proof of ID for a bank transfer or for them to send me a cheque to my new address. Every email has since been ignored. AVOID this place! I paid over £200 for this filling and they are refusing to give me my money back. Very disappointed especially being out of pocket in a cost of living crisis. SHOCKING!
