Had my first appointment with Mount Wise Dental surgery today. Friendly and professional receptionists,the treatment I wanted was expensive,but was advised by the dentist this was probably not the way to go,and advised me of a treatment which was much cheaper but better for me. He was honest and he was easy to talk to,and I respect his opinion. I will go ahead with his advice knowing I was not being taken advantage of. I would recommend this practice,for their professional and honest practices.

Left waiting for an appointment as an NHS patient, despite asking several times I was told no NHS appointments due to backlog. Then a letter telling me they're dropping all NHS patients and going private only. Absolutely disgusting! I now have to pay privately for ALL dental work BEFORE I'm able to join a dental plan with another private dentist when my teeth SHOULD have been in a good state and I SHOULD have had this done via NHS when I KEPT ASKING for an appointment and wouldn't have needed work doing before being allowed a dental plan. Revolting way to treat people 🤢 Morally corrupt.

Apparently no longer seeing nhs patients. I was not informed . Now in severe pain and told I had been sent a letter, which I've never received. Now myself and two children are without dentist after having been registered for over ten years. Disgusting

Tried several times to get an appointment as an NHS patient registered with Mount Wise but just kept being told they were still working their way through a backlog from about 2020. Then I got a letter out of the blue saying they're chucking out all NHS patients and going private only!! The letter had a whole host of information about how to pay their private fees for an appointment, but basically if you can't afford this then tough luck and sod off. I've been waiting 2 years for an appointment and now this? Disgusting.

Since early part of last year I have ask reception for an appointment for my son on my last two hygienist appointments and was told the first time my sons 18 I can't make them for him.The second time I asked I was told they are seeing people from 2020 first. Last month I called the dentist for reception to tell me they have been told not to book anymore check up appointments for nhs and the last time they saw my son was in 2021and they tried calling me twice in 2022 for my son which I did not get any calls or messages i even checked my voices calls as i never delete any voices mails. I have been going to this dentist for 13 years and never missed a call or appointment. The reception women was very rude speaking to me and even my son could hear how she was speaking to me and commented how rude she was towards me. Lisa the dentist is lovely and good at her job it's just reception staff lets this dentist down. Hence why the 2 star.

Receptionist cancelled all my appointments because I didn't want a night garde made then tried to say I cancelled them. How ever dentist Lisa Mullarkey is a good dentist her Receptionist is rude and cancels appointments when she sees fit. For this reason I'm given them one star hope Lisa can sort out her rude obnoxious staff

I have been coming to this dentist since I was 26 I am now 62 the original owners were great and now the new team Lisa and Ken are just as great too ,I am quite a nervous patient and recently had to make a trip to see them after having a raging toothache they were very busy but the staff did manage to get me into have a tooth out and I got to say Dr.Ken Lauty was brilliant he talked me through everything to calm my nerves and I also have had more detailed work done by Lisa who was brilliant aswell ,all tge staff ,nurses ,reception are lovely and I would highly recommend this practice well it goes to show September 86 I first went there and still there welldone guys keep up the good work thankyou for your patience with me

I had an extraction and a filling today.I must say the Dentist and nurse were both fantastic.Im not great with dental visits they both made me feel very at ease with constant reassurance. I couldn't feel a thing .there manner and professional attention to detail explained in layman's terms with friendly smile and manner was second to none .thanks so very much
