The receptionist is simply beyond rude. Unfortunately, I believe she is also the practice manager, which I assume is why my concerns have not been replied to. Her manor is vile and the 'policy' she quotes is far more important to the practice than patient care. She acts as though they are doing us a favour in providing (basic, mediocre) NHS care. The practice appears to prioritize financial gain over all else, there is no care or compassion shown. The surgery itself is shabby and poorly maintained, with a musty-smelling waiting room. The car park is tiny and difficult to park in unless you have a hot hatch. My advice is to avoid it at all costs!

I am just about the worst patient. I moved to Dorset from Sussex and couldn't get an NHS dentist anywhere. My daughter found this practice which took on NHS patients BUT needed a check up and any initial work done privately and once that is done go on NHS plan. Having avoided dentist for years needed 3 fillings and a Crown. My wife had none. The guy doing mine was super sensitive to the anxiety and my daughter had similar experience with another dentist so far really happy and recommending to family and friends.

I felt very taken advantage of. I booked an emergency appointment was quoted £75 by the receptionist that quite quickly went up to £200 as an extraction was needed. Said that they couldn't do my procedure under the NHS as they were full. Ok that was fine, needs must I thought, just needed my pain gone. I was then numbed up and asked to sit back in the waiting room where I querried the price increase. The receptionist called over I assume the manager? And she then told me actually the price has now gone up to £255 if I didn't pay now I couldn't have the extraction.....I said this was a heck of a jump from the original £75 then £200 now £255 I had no choice she basically said ok you can leave eithout anything being done....i thiught this was disgusting seeing as though I was numb already. I asked how long it will be, she said if you make payment I'll check.....really feel my pain was used to make a quick buck. Disgusting practice to, Inside was very tatty and dirty, the dentists uniform was covered in spray from the last patient, chairs, flooring walls etc all tatty, torn and crumbling. I've luckily now have found a fab new dentist locally who have advised I need nowhere near the £1000 work that vital told me I'd need. Please avoid this place only interested in money in my opinion and the manager was extremely rude and forceful. The way I was treated was appalling.

What an amazing service! I lost part of a tooth on Sunday and I was unable to telephone for an appointment until 11am on Monday. By 12.30 on the same day, I was back home with a beautiful repair carried out by a new dentist at the surgery, the lovely Mr Mayaci! Thank you for a wonderful job!

I had two wisdom teeth taken out recently and to say I struggle with injections in my mouth would be an understatement, Akram and her team made the whole process easy and significantly less stressful than I expected. I would highly recommend them.

Extremely helpful, especially when I needed complex work doing during the covid problems and restrictions. I ended up having the work done spread over three lengthy appointments, which was in June and July 2021. It was the most logical way to approach my situation, rather than wait untill a hospital slot or slots became available , which probably would have been the usual way of resolving my unusual problems. Plus i was in a lot of pain, and kept on requiring courses of antibiotics.

The receptionist at this dental practice is the epitome of ungracious impertinence and the rudeness we received during our last visit was beyond my tolerance levels. In the many years my family and I have been visiting this practice we have quietly tolerated the abrasive attitude of the receptionist, but the last visit was the final straw, and thankfully we have joined another practice nearby. The dentists themselves are polite, kind and professional but the reputation of the whole practice suffers because of the insufferable attitude of the receptionist who creates the most unwelcoming atmosphere. We were told on our last visit that my daughter, who had a bad cold but had not been able to contact the surgery over the weekend to cancel the Monday appointment, would likely have to pay for cancelling at such short notice and also risked being struck off. This was their policy I was told abruptly. No flexibility or compassion. A policy is not one of the ten commandments believe it or not, and there is always room for flexibility and a little humanity. I explained that my daughter didn't want to pass on her illness on to the dentist, who would then pass it on to all and sundry, but apparently , according to the receptionist that would have been fine...I assume that includes COVID (??). Needless to say we are relieved to have finally made the move to another practice, which will hopefully prove to be an altogether happier experience.

a morally bankrupt and appalling practice. the receptionist who also informed me she was the practice owner withdrew me from the NHS list. upon scheduling my annual check up advised I had been deleted because I had missed the deadline to book, even though my previous check was within the year period and their own automated system had sent me a text to arrange. was no discussion just a blunt and frankly rude statement I must now book as private at double the cost. she admitted their systems may be wrong but that is not their problem.... unfortunately rather than treated like a customer she considers people as cattle to exploit probably as NHS patients cannot be monetised as much as private. I must say the dentists themselves are good! unfortunately they are let down by an unscrupulous and unprofessional owner who cares more about lining her own pocket than caring for customers / patients. thankfully for me I can afford to go private but I will not be giving any of my money to this practice. I feel sorry for those that can't and are exploited. a sad indictment of the state of dentistry in this country these people give a poor name to the industry generally. fortunately for them they can operate without having to provide any sort of customer service or care so they will keep on operating as they are! if you have a choice then choose somewhere else don't line their pockets

Receptionist seemed rushed, was ok to talk to but was quick enough to put the phone down, couldn't really hear any enthusiasm in her voice, I can't fault the dentist, the dentist I have is absolutely amazing and amazing with my little one, she loves going to the dentist.

Awful dentist experience, my family went there for years until I had a crown fitted which always felt wrong , it was so painful I couldn’t bite on it, they tried shaving it but ultimately said there’s nothing wrong just let it settle. I was left in severe pain, it was so unbearable I went to the GP in desperation and was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) which is severe nerve pain. The pain felt like I wanted to rip my face off and at times I could not move, I was put under a specialist and was told I needed a procedure which involved opening the side of my head to wrap the Trigeminal nerve to protect it. I decided to go for a second opinion at a private dentist as the pain radiated from my tooth into my head and X-rays showed a massive infection under the crowned tooth that ran along my jaw bone it was huge. Then followed a Root canal (on the same crowned tooth) during that procedure they found a hairline crack on the Inside of my tooth which could not be saved so it had to be removed, costing £1,800 as I needed sedation due to the pain. Removing the tooth alleviated the TN pain, but I was left with migraine’s and still have sporadic TN attacks across my head and have severe headaches but I avoided having a procedure that involved cutting the side of my head open , and my personal view is Vital were completely negligent, they either missed the crack in the tooth or caused the crack when doing the crown which then led to a massive infection , they did not listen when I said I was in pain (agony) . I moved the whole family away. On top of all of that the reception team are unwelcoming, miserable and they don’t even smile when they take your hard earned money. Disgraceful practice who need a good shake up.
