Visited the clinic today for a dental procedure performed by Dr Yousaf CHAUDARY who was amazing in both the manner he conducted the operation and the fact he explained fully what he needed to do. I have nothing but the highest praise for Dr CHAUDARY and the clinic staff.

My girlfriend booked what was meant to be a routine NHS check-up because her gums have been red and bleeding for a long time — long before she ever had composite bonding done. When she arrived, they said she’d been removed from their system and made her pay £70 privately. After paying, the dentist took a quick look, noticed the composite bonding, and immediately refused to continue, saying they couldn’t do anything because the bonding was done elsewhere. They wouldn’t even check her gums, which was the whole reason for the appointment. To make matters worse, they later called asking us to remove this review, yet still refused a refund. They tried to blame the composite bonding for the bleeding gums, completely ignoring the fact that the problem existed long before the bonding was ever done. This shows a complete lack of compassion and unwillingness to listen to their patients — they seem more interested in taking people’s money and running. Absolutely bewildered how they have so many positive reviews. She will never return. UPDATE TO REVIEW: The dental clinic has called us multiple times (bordering on harassment) requesting that we remove this review. However, we will not consider doing so unless a refund is issued for the £70 we paid for a check-up that was never carried out. During their call, the representative insisted that they refused to complete the check-up because the bleeding gums issue was due to poorly fitted composite bonding from another dentist and advised us to return there. We repeatedly explained that the gum issue existed long before the composite bonding was done, but she refused to acknowledge this or issue a refund for the refused services, while still expecting us to remove our review. We paid for a service that was not provided, which is unacceptable. If the clinic is unable to complete the check-up, the payment should be refunded. It’s as simple as that. My girlfriend’s parents, sister, and other family members have all used Heralds Way in the past, but after this experience, they will be going elsewhere, since getting £70 for nothing is more important than goodwill or doing what's right.

I’ve had a lovely dentist Simran Rattan for most of my check ups and appointments. She has been lovely and explained everything very well making me comfortable. However, I broke one of my front teeth and had to have a composite bonding put on it as the cheapest option. I then saw a specialist called Yousaf for a check up which I was expecting to only have options of the cheapest option for the long term goal for my tooth. However, with this specialist I came out my check up appointment feeling more self conscious than I went in. Being told to have Invisalign to straighten my current teeth, whiten them and then fix my broken tooth which was the whole point of my appointment in the first place. I just wanted the cheapest option but instead got estimated a £4000 bill, got told I’ve got other issues with my teeth and didn’t actually get a NHS cheapest option. I got marketed into a lovely idea of having perfect teeth which is a nice idea but not with that price. Lovely and welcoming staff and never had an issue but now I’ve been made to feel more self conscious and no permanent solution for my tooth.
