My wife and I have been patients of this clinic for many years. Apparently, the reception staff is new and doesn’t know us, because I’ve always booked my wife’s appointments with Dr. Richard without any issues. However, today I wasn’t allowed to make an appointment for her, as they claimed that my wife needed to be present in order for me to do so. They justified this by referring to data protection laws, which makes no sense in this context — I was only trying to book an appointment, not request any personal information. I’m writing this because I felt treated unfairly and with no reason. When my wife returned from work, we called again from my phone, but our call was hung up a couple of times. Then they called my wife’s phone, apparently to verify that it was really her who had spoken from my phone earlier. To make matters worse, they refused to give us an appointment before December 23rd. Very poor service today. It’s disappointing to be treated this way after being loyal clients for so long. We’ll have to reconsider staying with this dentist and certainly cannot recommend a clinic that doesn’t trust its long-term patients.

Booked in as a new patient, first appointment over a month in advance. The day before my appointment they cancel it and offer me another more than a month in the future. I asked for a quicker app due to the cancellation being there issue, this was shrugged off. Terrible customer service.

Went for a wisdom tooth extraction with doctor Ban (do you use doctor?). Obviously not a pleasant experience but everyone I met treated me professionally and with kindness. Really good wee clinic through all my experiences so far. In particular Dr Ban (just googled it Dr is right!) for what felt like as clean a removal as possible!!

Was moved to snowdrop clinic after my own closed. My whole family had been with the previous dentist who was brilliant. First few appointments were fine until I was moved to Dr.Ban. Didn’t listen to anything I had to say, wouldn’t give me a scale and polish but was happy to “pop out” two teeth that were giving me no issues. Had 3 family members who went to her and had a nightmare…apparently unable to use anaesthesia properly and were accused of having a “low pain threshold” after 5 injections. Another had a needle broken off in their gum. One was left with no stitches and had to return later that day because bleeding wouldn’t stop and had to be seen by a different dentist. I do need treatment now but was so worried about going to see Ban I have luckily found another dentist. I have also had my children and grandson move. Very unfortunate for the clinic that this one dentist is ruining their reputation. I’ve read other reviews about ban being unable to numb clients properly. She has been named as a “BUTCHER” just because someone is an NHS patient it doesn’t mean they have to deal with someone incapable of their apparent job.

I went to this dentist during lockdown as a private patient out of necessity. The price was extortionate, the nerves in one tooth were killed, requiring the removal of that tooth, and another tooth was purposely damaged without repair.

My Mum just came back from the dentist, crying, because of the pain. That dentist didn't put enough freeze on and bearly left it long enough to work. Isn't that classed as torture? My Mum has never NEVER been scared to go to a dentist until her. Appauled by this. Her dentist is called Ban

Richard is taking care of my teeth for more than 3 years now. I went to this dental clinic when I was in Dundee. Even though I moved to Blackburn a year ago, I still travel 200 miles, driving 8 hours to see Richard. He is a exceptional dentist with very good experience. I have tried other dentists local in Blackburn. But, Richard is the best. He recently sorted my toothache by giving me urgent appointment. The whole team from this dental clinic is lovely and friendly. I do really recommend him and his dental clinic.

I am not a very good patient at all - I'm genuinely fearful of the dentist and have had some terrible experiences. This practice is the only one where I've not had a panic attack throughout treatment. It's warm, inviting, friendly, professional and caring. It's nice to be asked my thoughts on what I want for treatment options and to have things explained to me before things happening to me! Thanks to the whole team!
