From the very beginning, Dr. Ali and his team made me feel completely at ease, explaining each stage of the process clearly so I always felt involved and informed. A great experience with the very professional team at North Cardiff Dental & Implants. I was put at ease from the time of entering the reception welcomed by Cirwyn and Abby. The consultation was thorough and reassuring, covering all my questions and more, giving me confidence in the dental implant treatment received from Dr. Aly, the dental nursing and technician team. There were many stages in the treatment but all were generous with their time and each step was explained in detail. Dr. Aly is an expert in his field, he exudes joy and pride of the work he carries out, it is very commendable this is shared by the whole team providing great care and attention at NCDI. I was diagnosed with an infection just 14 days before Xmas. The tooth could not be saved. I was offered a denture or bridge to cover the gap by my dentist. I decided dentures were out and after reading up on bridges I did not like the idea of my 2 healthy teeth either side of the gap being filed down to accept the bridge with no guarantees that it would last. I opted for an implant. The following morning I contacted North Cardiff Dental and Implants. They were very concerned about my situation and immediately booked me in that very same day at the end of normal hours for an examination. The infected tooth had to come out before the Xmas break and to leave it till after would make the infection much worse. I was warmly welcomed to the surgery and put at ease immediately. Aly and all his staff went above and beyond by staying on after hours to do all the necessary examinations and preparation work in order to fix the temporary implant the following week just a few days before the xmas break. Thank you very much to all the team. Stage 1 -19 December 2024 Aly explained every step in the procedure, what he was going to do and also while he was doing it. The staff were the same, explaining everything they were doing and and getting everything ready for him. It went like clockwork - xrays, photos, examinations, etc done in detail with great professionalism. The infected tooth out and pocket cleaned up then the temporary implant fitted. I felt no pain for the whole procedure. I was very happy with the visit. Check up on02/01/2025 - no complications, everything looked good. I just had to wait 3 months for the bone to heal before the next stage. Stage 2 - March 2025. Carefully following all the instructions for the past 3 months I was back to check how the implant had settled into the jawbone. It settled really well. It was now ready to proceed. With all the latest technology all the guesswork is non existent and the precision measuring and checking to make the new implant is outstanding. Including perfect colour match. The temporary cap was also removed for a visual check and replaced. No pain again. The result was a very successful implant, so just a short wait while the tooth is being created, about 3 weeks. Stage 3. April 2025 I was back to have the temporary cap removed and the new one fitted. Again a thorough check over, a few minor adjustments, temporary cap off and permanent on. The skills of this amazing team with the guidance of Aly is outstanding. My comfort and patient care was a priority. An explanation at every step of the way was a fantastic help for comfort and peace of mind. Thank you Aly and your team. I would thoroughly recommend North Cardiff Dental & Implants.
