Took my dentures in and was charged £60 for repair ( in Scotland same repair £10 lasted over a year) . They broke in the same place 2 weeks later. I took them back and was told that it would cost a further £60. I was then told that they were old and would break again. I was not advised of this initially. They are less than 3 years old and on average you would expect dentures to last at least 10 years I believe. At any rate to be charged £60 for a repair that lasts 2 weeks and then to be charged again 2 weeks later seems to be unacceptable. The interaction was curt and unhelpful. I have needless to say found someone else to carry out the repair.
