Following years of unexplained tooth pain a few visits to Mr Glover at The Mount Dental Practice resolved the issues. 2 implants, root canal work and crowns sorted the problems. The work to be carried out was explained well and estimates given. Prior to the work on my teeth Mr Glover's confident, professional manner put me at ease. Difficult extractions and root work were carried using a local anaesthetic and no serious discomfort was experienced. My most recent annual check up (November 2025) I was treated by new members of the team, hygienist Evette , and the two dental nurses . The treatment was very professional and dental hygiene advice very practical. Booking of appointments was straightforward due to the professionalism of the receptionist. Excellent service all round.

Having been a patient of the mount dental practice for many years now i wish to say that this practice is still as good as ever and the staff who have been brought in over the years have been and are first class led brilliantly by Robert who explains everything treatment wise in such a easy to understand and professional way.Special mention today though for Sara the recently added member of the hygienist brigade as she was brilliant throughout my appointment explaining everything she was doing and felt so relaxed and reassured at her confidence and expertise in what she did. As a preparation for the extraction of two wisdom teeth in hospital my dental surgeon referred me to Dr Glover who was asked to provide a scan of my lower jaw for use by the surgeon. I turned up at the correct time, was kept waiting for half an hour, and then told that Dr Glover was busy and that I should come back in four hours. I did so; the scan was carried out and I was afterwards directed to the reception area where I was relieved of £375.00. My money was taken before the scan was checked and verified. When I attended hospital I was informed that Dr Glover’s scan was unfit for purpose and I would have to obtain another from a different practitioner. I therefore wrote to Dr Glover, three times in all, requesting a refund of my money. Not only has no refund been made but I have not so far had a reply from him. As a pensioner in my seventies I am not in a position to fund useless work of this kind and I intend to pursue the matter. The only reason Dr Glover has received one star is for the courtesy and professionalism of his receptionist.
