My daughter recieved treatment from kingcross and was then discharged back to dundee dental care. Unfortunately my daughter was in a lot of pain but kingcross told me I had to contact dundee dental care and they would have to refer her back again for treatment. I took my daughter to dundee dental care after being given an emergency appointment and the way the dentist spoke to me was completely unacceptable. I explained the situation clearly and she abruptly told me " I don't have time for these referrals, I have other patients to see and I'm not working tomorrow, this is ridiculous". All while my daughter is sitting in the chair in pain and is clearly uncomfortable at how this dentist was speaking to me. I called the practise when I got home to complain and thankfully the manager was very apologetic and promised to make the referral the same day. This is the second time this female dentist has spoken to me this way concerning my daughters dental care, she has zero people skills and no empathy whatsoever. I will be looking for a new dentist for the both of us.

Just wanted to give an honest review on Dundee Dental Care in Buttar’s Loan. It has received mix reviews and I think it’s only fair to give a honest review on my recent experience. It was my second time at the practice for a scale and polish and it has far exceeded my expectations again. I was contacted the day before to confirm my attendance and received a reminder text message. Reception area was clean and welcoming. I asked the receptionist for a drink of water, which she brought immediately and directed me back to my seat to wait and brought the water to me. Toilets were spotless and I was glad to see a couple of magazines in the waiting room that I had suggested in my previous visit. As a new patient, the dentist completed a through review of my notes and asked me questions on my dental history. Eva, the very friendly dentist, showed due diligence by making a personalised plan to prevent further issues I am experiencing through night time grinding. All of which i had experienced for years but was never addressed in my previous practice. The difference in service from my previous practice was night and day. It was a Russian roulette in what service I would receive in my previous practice in Broughty Ferry, were as in Dundee Dental Care, the service is the same regardless of the day or what staff member was on. The biggest difference I feel however is the personalised treatment. I felt I mattered to Dundee Dental Care opposed to just a number in my previous practice. Making the transition to Dundee Dental Care was the best thing to happen to my oral health care. Very grateful to be a patient at Dundee Dental Care it is night and day from my previous practice.

Excellent, the dentist I saw today totally put me at ease and explained why xrays were needed and showed me the photos to point out where work is required with the hygienist. Far superior to my previous dentist in Aberdeen.

If I could give 0 stars I would! After a 2 year wait for my appointment I came in on the day to be asked to take a seat, after this Maria I think, says I’m sorry there is no note here what is this appointment for?? I’m sorry Maria but YOU made that appointment 2 year previous and had 2 full year to call me if you had forgotten! Place is a joke and id never recommend

Dentist failed to re refer me to dental hospital and had me waiting 2 and a half years thinking he has done his job! No 0 star options or i would have gave that

Feels like they don't like NHS patients? Or maybe they just don't care? For someone who's scared of dentists, this second visit here has made it worse. The first time (2019), my tooth fell on the floor in the extraction, and they accidentally cut my lip with the surgical knife. I didn't feel any pain, but I was shocked they didn't notice the tooth on the floor at all (where did they think it went? A whole tooth) I picked it up on my way out and took it home to show the lack of attention they have. But I still liked them because they were so nice and helpful. This time they were so cold and acted like they couldn't be bothered. The treatment was so rough, it sounded like they were so dis-organised before the treatment started, and I wasn't listened to at all (I'm not a dentist but if I'm feeling pain, trust me I am). At the end, I wasn't even given a chance to rinse my mouth, so I left with a mouth full of blood. Again, I didn't feel pain in the treatment so don't worry about that, but the lack of attention and care is mind-blowing. It's less of a surgery more like a butcher. As a patient, I feel terrible because I know private patients who go there and always get good treatment. I can't help but think it's because I'm an NHS patient. Either way, if you've got anxiety, it's probably not the best place for dental work. I've decided to switch, and sadly I'll go private because NHS patients get treated like rubbish even though we go to work every day to fund it!

Went to this dentist just after Covid lockdown had been lifted and couldn’t have asked for better service, the staff were amazing and the dentist was too, had all my treatments done and have had no issues since. Would recommend this dentist☺️
