Impress
Orthodontist

I’m actually beginning to regret opting to go with Impress for my aligners. The customer service is BAD for the money that you pay for. I ordered my aligners in September and they only arrived 3 weeks ago. However the appointments are limited and/or there are hardly any staff to deliver a service that you would so rightly expect. A few weeks ago, I get my home to attend Waterloo branch for 9am appointment. The doors wasn’t open until 9.02 despite staff being inside and it was raining on the day and then was told the dentist was running late without any ETA. Last Monday, calls as early as 7 to informed that my orthodontist appointment has been cancelled because the staff member was off sick. “We’ll call you back to arrange another appointment”. I’ve heard nothing and tried to call but the number just continuously rings out. Gutted that I chose this place. If this is the experience now I’m anxious about my treatment and the results that I may get. The out the stops out for the sale in the beginning but the care after they’ve taken your money is POOR in my experience.

Poor Experience – Feels Like a Sales Trap I booked a free consultation to see if I was interested in the invisible aligner treatment. Before attending, I read the negative reviews—which often reflect the true experience—and I can now confirm many of those concerns. A friend referred me using a link that was supposed to give me £300 off the treatment. I’ve worn aligners in the past, and my teeth are already in good condition; I was only seeking minor aesthetic improvements. Before the appointment, I received two phone calls strongly emphasizing that I must bring my passport or ID. I questioned this, and they claimed it was only for identity verification—this turned out to be misleading. During the consultation, I mentioned that I already have a personal dentist and plan to get a dental fix soon. The consultant warned that this fix would stand out after whitening, and then suggested making my teeth smaller to create space for the aligners—something I believe a responsible dentist would never recommend lightly. Next, I was taken to a small room to discuss pricing. Despite my friend paying £1,750, and my referral supposedly offering a £300 discount, I was quoted £2,800. They then applied a so-called “Black Friday discount” of £600—despite it not even being Black Friday—bringing the price to £2,200. I was pressured to decide on the spot whether to pay upfront or begin a payment plan. When I asked for time to think, I was told the offer would expire today. This kind of hard-sell tactic felt aggressive and desperate. The so-called “Black Friday offer” was misleading. They had clearly inflated the original price in order to apply a fake discount. The treatment, which others paid significantly less for just months ago, was quoted at £2,800—only to be “reduced” to £2,200. This tactic creates a false sense of urgency and value, making the discount completely unreal. It’s a pricing manipulation strategy, not a genuine offer. The most concerning part is their insistence on bringing your ID—clearly intended to lock people into contracts during the appointment. The entire process felt misleading and manipulative, with inflated prices disguised as discounts. In my opinion, this is a scam-like experience. I strongly recommend speaking to your trusted dentist before committing to anything here. Avoid the pushy sales trap.

I'm blessed to be under the care of Precila & Victoria ☺️. The ladies are so welcoming & professional. Victoria, my dentist, has a lovely demeanour & gentle nature. My patient advisor Precila is always prompt in her replies. I highly recommend this clinic.

I called ahead to let them know I’d be 15 minutes late for my appointment. They said that was fine. I travelled an hour across London to then be turned away at the door because the booking team is supposedly in Spain and they told them it was 5-10 minutes instead. Their error, and a total waste of my time. Avoid. I’m disgusted.
