AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Firstly I'd like to start by saying I have spent thousands of pounds in this place, I received all my composite bonding done here top and bottom, whitening and hygiene visits. I recommended this practise to friends who have also went and spent thousands having crowns & bonding done here. Shortly after I changed to an NHS patient due to personal reasons and by god my treatment in this place soon changed and I feel it was due to the fact I now was not paying for treatment as a NHS patient. Firstly I have had quite a few disagreements with "MIMI" who was my dentist. Mimi refused to take a wisdom tooth out that had been causing me nothing but hassle for years on end along with the tooth beside the wisdom tooth. Suddenly she had a change of heart and then removed the tooth. The tooth beside the wisdom tooth had still been causing me bother and had already had a root canal done so she offered to put a crown on it to see if that would solve the problem. I agreed and allowed her to do this. After still complaining and having pain in this tooth I have returned, I also had another 2 fillings needing done. Last week I had one of these fillings done and I stated to mimi the ones at the front you can see when I open my mouth I want to be white because they are visible but I don't care about the ones in the back as nobody sees them. She then replied by saying the one in the front would be a crown not a filling which was fine I said I would pay for a white one at the front. Mimi then filled the back tooth and said wee would take the molar out at the back on our next appointment. I went to front desk to be hit with a big bill even though I don't pay for dental care. I asked what this was for and the girl said a "white filling" on the back tooth. Which I didn't ask for. I then questioned it and they brought Mimi out and she was so arrogant and standoffish and humiliated me by shouting " well it has to be paid for" not once but twice. I agreed to pay for the filling but asked for a manager to contact me because I'm not happy and would want the refund but understand that it had to be paid for today. She stated there was notes wrote down saying I had said I only wanted white fillings in November last year, which I absolutely did not say. But then after placed a silver crown in my mouth. Doesn't make sense, so the owner of the practise heard this going on and said that it was fine I didn't have to pay for the filling. I felt so anxious going back here today because of the issue from last week. Mimi makes it very clear that she does not like me and for the reason of me telling her I'm in pain with teeth that she says they are fine there's nothing wrong with them. I honestly dont understand how this woman thinks she can feel my pain?!. I knew there was going to be an issue today. So I go today for her to then tell me she's not taking the back molar out and she's had a second opinion and there's nothing wrong with it even though said tooth, has had root canal and a crown on it. I then asked how someone could have a second opinion on my mouth without the person seeing me and she said by looking at X-rays. I asked who gave her this opinion and she refused to tell me. So fast forward to the work being done, Mimi then did not have the time to do the work on the fillings that I needed done because she had spent that much time arguing that she wasn't dealing with the top back tooth that was causing me bother. Baring in mind this isn't the first time she has done this, she done this previously with the wisdom tooth argued for around 15 minutes then said she had no time to carry out the work. Now as a professional that works in the NHS myself and works with patients every day, I feel this sort of neglect & arrogance cannot go unnoticed. This woman made it clear from the start she did not like me and I feel personally now that it's down to the fact I'm not paying for my dental care. I have more to write that will be put in writing to the manager.
