Mrs Jalan is a credit to NHS dentists. She works really hard and provides me and my family with great dental care. NHS dentists are criticised but we are very lucky to keep hold of the few remaining practitioners. Please look after this service or we will all be paying privately in the future.

Dr Patel was an exceptional dentist and is very missed. I have had very poor experiences with Jalan, the new dentist, including dropping instruments in my mouth which broke my tooth, very poor and rude communication and a complete cold indifference when it comes to NHS patients seeking help. There has been an enormous turnover of staff and the practice looks shabby and uncared for. There was dog crap caked into the waiting room carpet when I arrived last time. I now currently have had a serious infection in my tooth and apparently have had one for several years because the dentist who runs this practice thought briefly tapping my sore tooth with a non descript tool and charging me £40 before sending my on my way was enough. An X-ray would have been simple and quick diagnostic method and now I'm facing an extraction due to the extent of the infection a year later. I paid £40 for an appointment that lasted less than 60 seconds. This is sheer incompetence and I'll be raising a complaint with the relevant regulator and seeking legal advice on the grounds of this neglect. I am so glad I no longer have to use this absolute pit of a dentist and it's a constant comfort to now be registered elsewhere.

Absolutely brilliant! I have sensitive/ inflamed gums so a visit to the hygienist is seriously terrifying. M. was adept careful and reassuring and didn’t cause me any pain. I’ve booked my next appointment with her already. Ten stars never mind five! Im a very happy and relieved patient. Massive THANK YOU!!!!

I’ve had many positive visits to Hoylake Dental Practice ,the staff are always welcoming and professional. The practice is well maintained and very comfortable, which immediately put me at ease. Ranu was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain everything, answering all of my questions with patience and care. The treatment itself was painless, and I left feeling confident in the care I received. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate dentist. NHS practices are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain due to high demand and hoylake dental practice in my experience has always managed to maintain an excellent level of service.
