Absolutely awful experience. Saw a very young emergency dentist - could not have been more surly or rude if he tried, and actually hurt me. Was he sorry? Nope. He poured pre filling acid like fluid all over the inside of my mouth, burning my gums and tongue and left filling material all in between my teeth. I asked him to look at it, he refused - I have managed to find another dentist to fix the mess he made. One of the receptions is lovely, the other is sullen, and very, very rude. Very obviously annoyed she needed to ask her friend to hold on the phone while doing her job and attending to patients. Do not go here and tell 111 you want another dentist if this is the one they give you.

Do not use this dentist. There is a serious lack of expertise in this practise. Had a filling which caused major tooth ache. It failed within a week and caused a great deal more pain. They tried to tell me I needed a root canal (been to another dentist and that is not the case, just a poorly done job initially) so you can’t trust them either. Read the other reviews below too. They are all saying similar things, it’s not just happened to me. There are a lot of staff changes and it is now owned by another practice in Swindon ‘Smile’ and going downhill fast

Extremely disappointed with this dental practice. The reception The receptionist, Aqila, was incredibly rude and unprofessional — shouting over the phone and showing no respect for patients. My appointment was cancelled less than 12 hours before it was due, with no proper explanation or apology. The attitude at the front desk is dismissive and ignorant, making the whole experience very unpleasant. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere if you expect basic courtesy and reliability.

This is the worst treatment that I have ever got. No explanation of what is going on. Then the dentist has damaged my tooth and I went through a lot of pain and now needing root canal after my nerve has died. Just hope the dentist that caused me all the mental and physical pain encounter something similar to understand how to treat people.

We recently contacted the clinic as my wife was experiencing continuous dental pain, and we requested an urgent appointment for both a check-up and treatment. Despite the urgency, we were given an appointment three days later. Upon arrival, we were told that only a check-up could be carried out, as only 15 minutes had been booked — no time was allocated for actual treatment. When I asked about arranging a treatment appointment, I was told the next available slot was 21 days later. I expressed my concern, explaining that it is unreasonable to expect someone in ongoing dental pain to wait that long. Their only response was to “call 111.” I explained that 111 would only perform an extraction, not proper treatment, yet the staff simply stated they couldn't do anything further. What was most disappointing was the lack of empathy — especially after I informed them that my wife is diabetic, on insulin, and highly prone to infections. There was no urgency or compassion shown, and the entire interaction felt dismissive and uncaring. The service was unprofessional, rude, and completely devoid of compassion. In addition, I had a tooth filled at the same clinic, but the filling just came off about 2 months. Despite the treatment being paid for, they refused to repair it. This lack of responsibility and poor service has left us extremely dissatisfied. 😒 Although there previous services was satisfactory but now it is extremely poor which I can think because change of few good staffs.

As a very anxious patient, I have been so reassured by dentist Joana Veiga, who is kind, calm, and explains everything in detail. I felt really listened to and I now don't fear the dentist. I hope she doesn't leave too soon, as this is the first dentist who has really taken care of me. Thank you Joana!
