This is about the older receptionist the others are very professional: the older receptionist seems confused and doesnt give you much confidence in what she says. you ask for information and she keeps glancing at the dentist door if it opens and incase she is not doing her job properly, its like she has no confidence in herself either.

I just want to say a big thank you to Dr Mark, my daughter Laura and I won’t get used to her new perfect smile any time soon. He’s done an amazing job on her. Everyone is just nice and professional the receptionist is also so nice they have been so patient with us turning up late sometimes. Thank you so very much. Lydia

I’m extremely disappointed with the level of care and service my daughter has received at Bhandal Dental Practice Willenhall. Firstly, I want to say that the receptionists and front-of-house staff are always lovely, polite, and helpful, and this complaint is in no way directed at them. However, the ongoing issues with appointments and dental care are unacceptable. My daughter has not had a single successful appointment since January. Every appointment we’ve had has either been cancelled, often at the very last minute, or pushed back by several weeks, only to then be cancelled again!! This has made it impossible for her to receive consistent treatment. Her braces haven’t been adjusted since January, meaning they are currently serving no purpose and her treatment is completely on hold. We were told she needed regular adjustments, yet nothing has been done for over six months! On one of the few appointments she did attend, the dentist cut her chin and mouth, and doesn't explain what he is going to do before going ahead. This kind of rough, unexplained treatment is incredibly distressing for a child. And is making her worried about attending future appointments. In addition, the dentist is unapproachable and difficult to communicate with, making it very hard to raise concerns or ask questions. As a parent, I feel completely unheard, and it’s clear that my daughter’s needs are not being prioritised. This entire experience has been frustrating, upsetting, and frankly unacceptable. I expected a much higher standard of care, especially when it comes to children's orthodontic treatment.

I’d like to start by saying the Dentist does a fantastic job cleaning and explaining everything, he’s super friendly and he’s very gentle on my teeth. That being said, I was told I’m getting a referral to a specialist, a few months later I ask about it and he has no idea what I’m talking about. He says again he will refer me, hear nothing for months again. When I go in and ask they said they haven’t done it but will do it “today” few days later I go in to pick up a gum shield and ask again. They still haven’t done it but the lady on the desk said she will remind the Dentist and it will definitely be done “today” would you believe that I went back in today after months of not hearing anything and guess what? No referral… I wake up in pain every day, my teeth are being ground to dust and the dentist is not referring me still.

The male dentist I saw, didn't care about any dental issues, he didn’t even fully check. He asked me what the problem was. I said to him that I think I have gum infection. He did not check my teeth properly at all, just looked at the gum and prescribed me antibiotics. I paid £26.80 to be prescribed the antibiotics with my appointment being less than a minute long. I didn't like their service at all. He spent only 1 second to check my teeth. It wasn't good service at all and definitely would not recommend.
