I had an appointment with Rob Jacobs today at Jacobs Endodontics having been referred by my dentist for Root Canal Treatment. I was impressed right from walking through the door at the cleanliness of the reception and waiting area and by the professionalism and friendliness of the lady on that desk. Rob was very welcoming when I met him and explained to me in great detail what would be happening during the appointment. I felt he was very interested in my case. Likewise, Tori was equally welcoming and the nervousness that I had been feeling prior to meeting Rob and Tori immediately disappeared once I started to engage with them both. Throughout the 2 hour appointment I had, Rob kept me fully informed as to what was happening at each part of the procedure and always told me if a particular piece of dentistry equipment was going to cause some kind of vibration or sensation on the tooth he was working on. Both Rob and Tori also checked at regular intervals if I was ok. I felt no pain at all throughout the whole procedure. Rob and Tori worked so well together and I felt totally safe in their hands. I particularly liked the music that was being played throughout my appointment. 😀 When Rob had completed the work he went through everything that he had done and showed me pictures at various stages. I know that if we are honest, none of us really look forward to visits to the dentist, however, I left Jacobs Endodontics (406 Bury Old Road) without any regrets at having Root Canal Treatment at the practice. My tooth, along with my gums and mouth felt fine straightaway and the anaesthetic wore off soon afterwards and I have had no discomfort whatsoever. I would happily recommend the practice and in particular Rob for his professionalism and expertise and care. The same goes for Tori. Thank you both very much for what you did today.

I've had a few root canal fillings done elsewhere which were good but the post-operative discomfort this time was minimal, the care shown throughout exemplary and every aspect of the treatment - from referral, booking to the actual procedure - were first class in every respect.

I would absolutely recommend Jacobs Endodontics Prior to my appointment I was given pain relief advice to tide me over which really helped. I was sent all my forms digitally which made the checking in process simple on the day. The practice is spacious and modern and the staff were all really lovely. After X-rays and a CT scan, Rob advised that I needed root canal treatment to save the tooth and get rid of my pain. Everything was really clearly explained, being able to see the images on the screen made everything easy to understand. I was naturally apprehensive having never had much dental work before, but I shouldn’t have been. The entire procedure was completely pain free and I felt in really safe hands throughout. It was actually almost relaxing - I never thought I would say that! I know the treatment has been carried out to the highest standard - my own dentist was very impressed with the X-rays which have been sent over! I am so happy that I was able to save my tooth and now completely pain free again just a few days later. Thank you!
