Not a patient, visited for emergency dental treatment. To begin with I was never asked for any medical history at ALL, no form was filled in and no questions were asked. When the Xray was completed I was not asked if I was pregnant. I was telling the Dentist about my situation and felt I was being ignored as they did not respond. I was also notified by my partner who attended with me that the Nurse had left the room with her blue gloves on touching the door handle, returned with blue gloves on again touching the door handle and then proceeded to treat me. Unfortunately at the time, we were both extremely tired and I was in too much pain to pick up on or notice these issues enough to address them. Following the treatment I was subject to extreme vomiting, Nausea and fever. I was admitted to A&E the next day and had multiple tests including X rays as I was told by an emergency GP I had a high risk for Sepsis. My X rays were reviewed by a Maxillofacial surgeon who said my filling was done incorrectly. They had masked infection. I am now on dual antibiotics and struggling with huge swelling in my face. I have visited another dentist and realised how unprofessional my experience at hick lane had been. I was asked for to fill in a huge form for medical history and the dentist had a lengthy discussion with me BEFORE any treatment. I now have to wait until antibiotics completed to have any corrective treatment. (This was also a 111 appointment ) I’m really disappointed in my experience at Hick Lane and concerned about the practices.

I came for a emergency apoitment dr Ahmed is the best and does a very good job I have been turned down beicuse of some dentist I have visited but this one is the one she did a permenant filling for me which is great thank u so much dr Ahmed nazia keep up the good work she needs a pay rise tooo welll done

Called the practice to make a enquiry regarding a matter. The lady answered was Called sana as she answered she was laughing with someone behind her and was still laughing whilst speaking to me, it was a very unprofessional manner of attending a call in a professional practice as Hicklane dental

I came to hick lane surgery for an emergency appointment only. From there, omar became my dentist. Safe to say, before I had omar as a dentist I was probably the most nervous patient with a bad history and couldn't have treatment without sedation. Even check ups were near to impossible. Omar is the first and only dentist who has been patient and from the get go, has made me comfortable with dentists within a click of a finger. I have now had multiple treatments, still ongoing, and each of them always at a high success rate with the most honest advice each time. I cant recommend this dental practice and especially this dentist enough. I never thought I would see the day where i could comfortably have long procedures done, and even short ones. High praises for the dentist and the practice. Very accommodating. And great knowledge and experience. Thank you!
