While I was house/dog sitting away from home I developed an abcess under a lower left molar. I tried to suffer on, but I soon realised I was not going to last until my leave date and the dogs kept catching my face. I didn't know the area very well. I tried to find an emergency dentist as close as possible that could see me as soon as possible. It wasn't as close as I would have preferred but they could see me quickly which was becoming more important. I was seen promptly. After a brief examination I was given a full list of potential options for treatment. I decided to limit the work to draining the abscess and having further work done once I returned home. The draining was such a relief, removing the pressure. It was carried out quickly with painless local anaesthesia. I was very happy with the service and all the options for treatment I was presented with.
