Had my routine follow-up today. Staff are lovely and engaging, booking appointments is always easy. I had forgotten about my appointment last week, which I was no longer able to attend, but this was easily amended and was changed to today, after the phone call they always make the day before your scheduled appointment. Very happy!

I’ve been with this dentist for many years now. They have always been great. The receptionist is by far the friendliest receptionist I have ever encountered. I always get a quick reminder call a day or two before, which is appreciated. The dentist is very professional, efficient, and friendly. They take the time to listen and explain what they are doing and why.

Reception very impatient and rude, i did find her snappy in the past but it didn't bother me as much but this time apart from being snappy she insinuated i stole her pen just because i said let me check in case i put it in my bag by mistake she went on and say thats where all out pens goes. I only checked my bag to be on the safe side. This really upset me for a while after. A bit humiliating to be honest.

Whilst my first check-up at this practice was a pleasant experience—reception staff were polite and helpful— today's experience was absolutely awful and disappointing!! I will NOT be coming here again! I had a genuine misunderstanding about the price of a treatment (I believed both front white fillings would cost £130 in total, not per tooth). When I arrived and was told otherwise, I calmly asked if I could just go ahead with the cleaning that had been postponed from my first check-up. What followed was one of the rudest interactions I’ve had in a healthcare setting. I was told to discuss this with Dr "Tom" (if that even is his name, sure looks anything but a Tom), & as soon as I entered the room, he didn’t greet me or even offer a polite “hello.” Instead, he immediately launched into an aggressive lecture: “You’ve wasted our time, we could’ve seen two other patients, you’ve cost us XYZ...” There was no attempt to understand the situation or even speak to me with basic courtesy. His tone was so abrupt and accusatory, as though I had intentionally turned up to waste his time and avoid paying. His immediate eye-rolling, constant head shaking/tutting and general dismissiveness were so unnecessary, as though I had been stood there for 20 minutes causing some nuisance, when I was simply trying to understand the situation, bearing in mind the "conversation" lasted less than 2 minutes! What the so called Doctor also failed to consider is that I, too, made an effort to attend—I took unpaid time off work, drove 30 minutes, paid for parking—and had every intention of receiving treatment, & had I been spoken to with some basic respect, I potentially would have considered going ahead with silver fillings, but to be spoken to like that from the get-go is so incredibly poor! To make matters worse, he refused to carry out the cleaning I was originally due as part of the check-up (this was given to my partner as part of his check up, but apparently the "Dr" said I had to book another check-up in order to get the cleaning LOL). I then spoke to the receptionists to explain what had happened, and whilst they showed "understanding", it's clear they didn't think much of how he behaved. Seems like a family run business which explains it. They only think of themselves, and their "loss". No understanding shown for my circumstances, & how I have wasted my time and money. No - I clearly did this intentionally and the only victims in this, are them!! A simple misunderstanding does not justify such a hostile, moody and accusatory approach by so called "Doctor" "Tom". Do better!

My first visit the dentist on Bowling Street in Leicester. Really impressed with communication before the appointment. Texts, emails and phone call to make sure I was still available for the appointment. Friendly reception staff and staff went out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. Teeth in good condition so I just had a polish and shine. Back in 6 months. Thank you to the team. Living with HIV and they didn’t judge or make me feel uncomfortable. #UequalsU
