Yes it has taken me over an hour in a queue, 4 days running, 3 triage call backs and speaking with 111 out of hours to get my mum an emergency appointment, but the triage calls back quite quickly and the appointment gets sorted very quickly same day. I can appreciate just how busy these receptionists are and I take my hat off to them and how many calls they must answer in a day! Thank you.

You kept me waiting on the phone for 1 hour to tell me you could not give me an appointment. This has been going on since 2023 Yes, more than a year of toothache and you say you can only offer pain relief. Your a joke. I am disgusted with you. But it sounded like you were enjoying it.

Reviews of this service seem mixed but my experience was really good. Called in the morning about an infernal toothache I’ve been having, and I had a same-day appointment confirmed in a second call by their triage team in the same hour. Not much trouble at all, I just re-confirmed my symptoms and details and all was ready. The appointment came earlier than expected which was helpful to me, and I’ve now been referred on after a diagnosis and prescription.

Absolutely disgraceful service. My partner has tried literally everything to sort out her agonising toothache that she's had for over a week. Salt water, paracetamol, not eating in that side of her mouth, and still we don't get the appointment that we clearly need. All we've learned from this is if you have a problem with your teeth and can't afford a private dentist during a COST OF LIVING CRISES, you're not getting the help you need so just give up

After being directed to call specifically here from NHS-111, the first call we made was hung up immediately, the second resulted in a 25 minute queue to get through to the reception that couldn’t hear us, hung up and never called back. The third time we called we waited 2 hours and nobody answered, we tried again only to be told that they had closed for lunch. The final time we tried we were told “the NHS isn’t really doing dentistry anymore, you should start saving for private healthcare” before they said that they only gave appointments to people that were crying in pain. I don’t think this is what the NHS is for.

After reading reviews I really did not expect any help! ...however after 80mins waiting in the phone queue, the lady was very polite, helpful, and got me an emergency appointment that same day! With Gloucester Dentist Care at 65 London RD. From walking into, to walking out after being fully treated having needing an extraction was about 30mins... which with other places is the waiting time past your appointment time! lol So, overall after 2yrs of problems with that darn tooth! At last it's feckin' gone! My guess is people with a wee bit of an ache expect to be treated like kings, with top priority! So leave negative feedback when others are rightfully given the emergency appointments... my issue had needed hospital aid during the night it was so bad. Thanks!!!! Lots!
