It’s ok when you can finally get in…almost every appointment I make for my daughter is cancelled the day before. She has a checkup every 3 months. This has been going on for as long as I can remember. The day before I get a text message this time the dentist chair has broken! It takes a lot of organising to get there and so annoying that it’s cancelled almost every appointment! I want to leave but obviously it’s hard to find an NHS dentist so unfortunately stuck.

The practice is very friendly front desk is very helpful but the dentist turns up late for first appointment of the day, which then had a knock on effect to whole day. You wait over a year for an appointment and it is changed at least once or twice and then the dentist can’t be bothered to show up on time for there working day. I don’t understand why you book people in so close to each-other, if your dentist can’t be bothered to show up on time. Very poor experience and if I could find another dentist I would.

So, here goes from 5 stars to 1... The 5 stars I left 4 years ago. In the last 2 years though it has been a real struggle to actually get an appointment. I was reading through the reviews and noticed we are not the only one with the same issue. Unprofessional attitude, improper treatments causing multiple repeated emergency visits, constant dentist swap - every check up we have a new dentist, cancellation of appointments the day before or on the day of the appointment with stupid excuse and so on. If it was only me okay, but this same thing is happening with the rest of the family. Even the kids. I have send an official complained following the guidence on their own website. I have not heard back for a week although they promise to reply within 3 days. I'm planning to go higher now. No one should be allowed to treat people like this!

Shocking customer service. The appointments keep getting cancelled and the receptionist can't even keep the story straight. Even has the audacity to ask if I want to reschedule ANOTHER appointment.

This practice has a real serious problem with cancelling appointments. It’s the only dentist available to me that is accepting NHS patients. I was on waiting list from January till August, in August I finally had an appointment for them to cancel on me the day of the appointment, then they have cancelled 3 more times. I had an appointment scheduled for tomorrow and already knew what was going to happen so I called them up preemptively to ask them “do I still have my appointment or are you going to cancel on me again” I was assured that the dentist is in and will be in tomorrow and it will not be cancelled. I then got a phone call 4 hours later to tell me “the dentist is sick and unable to come in so we have to cancel your appointment” I have been told the same very obvious lie 4 times now, 4 times it is “the dentist is sick and unable to come in” It’s very clearly a lie, the nhs dentist only works Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is clearly overbooked from the amount of NHS patients they’re taking in constantly and are double booking appointments or that they just don’t care if you’re not willing to pay them to go private. Either way some weird things are going on with this practice, my dad who also goes here had them cancel on him literally ten times with his original appointment in January now being December with the same excuse of “the dentist is unwell” each time. they can’t even keep track of their own lies, either that or they don’t care. You also receive no apologies from the receptionists, they’re rude and lack any sort of kindness and sensitivity when it comes to patient care. I would suggest anyone who is experiencing similar issues of repeated cancellations with no appointments to file a complaint to the local integrated care board or ICB.

Worst service in the entire Manchester. How can you cancel my appointment then give me a new one and your dentist is late by 1hour plus. I had to complain before even being responded to. You call 1hour delay “A little” late. I wouldn’t recommend. Terrible service.

My last 4 appointments have had to be rescheduled because the dentists are not available and I still haven't actually had an appointment yet. The last time I was seen which was over a year ago. The dentist was late and they called me as I was driving to the appointment to try and reschedule. I tried calling the reception desk to reschedule only for it to keep disconnecting which makes the whole appointment thing even more frustrating. It would be nice if I could make an appointment and actually keep it.

Honestly couldn't fault anything about my visits. Spoke with Aimee over the phone and she answered all the questions I had as it was my first time with the dental team. She was really lovely and took her time with me on the phone :)
