The most pain free hygienist experience ever. I usually have loads of injections to numb my gums before but Ayya asked me to trust her to be gentle and it was the most comfortable scaling and clean I've had in my life. Amazing! Thank you

I had a cleaning appointment at Dentology Chorlton with hygienist Ayya Lofty and her assistant Saida, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. They were both so warm, welcoming, and professional, which immediately put me at ease. Ayya was incredibly thorough but also gentle, explaining each step along the way and giving helpful advice without making it overwhelming. Saida was just as lovely, making sure everything ran smoothly and that I felt comfortable throughout. I left with my teeth feeling spotless and a smile on my face — genuinely one of the best hygiene appointments I’ve had. Highly recommend Ayya and Saida for anyone looking for top-quality, caring dental care at Dentology Chorlton.

In Dentology, both the dentist and the office stuff told me that I was going to get a free hygienist appointment. During that time I was busy and hadn’t scheduled it. When I called them a few months later they said there was a misunderstanding and I will have to pay for the hygienist appointment. Very professional.

So I went here for a £160 !! filling and a few weeks after I had the treatment I started getting bad earache and then the tooth and gum area around the newly filled tooth started to hurt. I went back and was told by a different dentist that the tooth was infected inside and I would need a root canal treatment of £1,600. He had already removed the filling so I asked if he could clean the infected area and fill it again until I got the money together. 1 year later the tooth ache hasn’t come back. Every time I go to this practice it’s different dentist and I’m not sure whether I trust them anymore.

I am in the process of making a formal complaint about the terrible services offered by Dentology Chorlton. I will wait and see what the outcome is.

I visited Dentology as a new patient in Feb 2025 What a lovely practice this is . I called the practice with pain the receptionist Samantha fitted me in on the same day of my call to see Dr Lartey . On arriving at the practice the staff were all very friendly I would reccomend Dentology if you are looking for a dental practice Thank you again Dentology Chorlton.

Don't recommend it. Did not see a dentist in 8 years since I moved to the UK and was advised by the dentist that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth, which I thought it was really strange. Was advised to get the hygienist appointment, which I did. 2 years later, I just visited a dentist in my place of origin who found 15 cavities, wisdom teeth full of cavities and old fillings that needed replacing because they were very old, another cavity found under old filling. I am pretty sure all these problems were already there but the dentist failed to see it or the practice in the UK is just really different? Not sure, but I am very disappointed. I am never coming back.
