Keith was my dentist when I was a little girl up until my late twenties, I'm now 42 and it's only since I stoped going to him and have a new dentist I relised how rubbish he was!!y sister ' I both needed retainers at the same time that didn't work! My sister now also in her 40's has spent thousands on her teeth doing the work he should have done when she was a young girl. We've both been told by diferant dentist that we should of had a fixed retainer & not a removable one. I have one tooth that sticks out a little at the front & am very self conscious of it, I hate photo of myself because of it, & it's a shame because if it wasn't for that my teeth would be lovely! I also have other issues like the fact that he still charged my sister & I when we where both pregnant, when we queried him about this he said he was a privet practis and pregnant women still had to pay although he did let us have a couple of appointments free! When I first started reciving working tax credits & got an exemption card for dental care I was pleased. So after my next check up I showed it to the receptionist only to be told that I shoud have mentioned that I recived tax credits. Before I had my check up because I wouldn't have got such a Thougher clean has you do when your paying, feeling quite embarrassed I said I'm sorry shoud pay something then, yes just give me £10 was the reply & like a fool I did!! It's all too late now & I'm mad with myself for not saying or doing something about it earlier & maybe my mum shoud of noticed that he could of been better when we was children but you put your trusts in these people!! I have children of my own now and they have a very good dentist.
