His approach and manner is professional and friendly. Staff at the practice are also friendly and professional. We have left this dentist as a family of four. My partner has complex dental needs which were not followed up after several extractions. My 23 yo daughter who has previously had braces as a teenager and has perfect teeth was asked if she wanted cosmetic treatment virtually before she opened her mouth. In my case, they used an in house crown printer which leaves a rough surface which compare poorly on clinical outcomes with traditional crowns. Andrew had to replace one. Another two remain rough to the touch despite a second polish and they have continued sensitivity despite a second visit. Throughout all visits I was told my smile would be transformed with cosmetics which led to me booking an appointment when I didn't really need one. Too much poor basic dental work and too much up sell. We have moved on.

I had my composite bonding and whitening done from Kiki over a year ago now, the difference at the time was unbelievable and still looks the exact same now. She is amazing at what she does and I'd highly recommend her to anyone and already have recommended her to a few Nash is also my dentist in the practice who is great, he gives you a lot of good detail after check ups/treatments, makes you feel at ease and is someone I really trust with my teeth

During the crossing from the Netherlands to Newcastle, I developed a toothache. Treatment was necessary. Upon arriving at the hotel in Edinburgh, I looked for the nearest dentist and went in as early as possible the next morning to ask if they could help me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The assistant immediately checked if there was room, and fortunately, due to a cancellation, I was able to be seen immediately. The costs were clearly discussed in advance. Afterward, I could easily pay online and received a digital invoice. I also received the x-ray by email for my own dentist's information. The dentist in charge, Dr. Andrew Norman, acted decisively, was empathetic, and calmly and clearly explained what was going on and what he was going to do. I was able to continue my tour of Scotland without any pain.

Nervous patient here, historic painful experiences at the dentist. Andrew was very understanding. Took great care to explain the process comprehensively and clearly. Have to praise the assistant too, so caring. The whole process (a fairly complicated onlay) was pain free and done in a day. Would not hesitate to recommend.
