I was referred by my dentist to AS Endodontics after an x-ray showed up a questionable old root canal treatment. I was extremely nervous about it and on my consultation discovered I would need 2 separate visits. Before my first appointment I had emailed Dr Sharma to mention certain worries I had about the procedure and he phoned me to put my mind at rest which I thought was very kind of him. I found the experience painless and absolutely fine. Dr Sharma was patient, calm and very professional and explained what was happening as he went along. After the first visit I was much calmer about going in for my second visit. In between the two appointments Dr Sharma was kind enough to phone me to check that my tooth was fine. I have had a very positive experience getting root canal here. Dr Sharma and his team very very professional throughout. I was given very thorough and clear explanations before my treatment appointment, at the start of the appointment and also at the end. I was reassured and despite being a very nervous patient, I felt the experience was relaxed and calm. The practise has a lovely atmosphere and I never felt my questions were unwelcome. I had a root canal treatment at my dentist a year or so back but had suffered continual problems with it. They recommended I see a specialist and sign posted me the AS Endodontics. From my first appointment I felt in safe hands with Dr Sharma and the team. The practice set up is calm and welcoming and the reception team are lovely. In the initial consultation with Dr Sharma he explained the problem. talked me through the proposed treatment and the risks involved. He inspires confidence and welcomed questions to ensure I knew what was involved. I left with a detailed quotation, the option to call back with queries and told to take my time to consider things. The treatment itself was quite extensive but as with the initial consultation lots of time spent with me to ensure I understood what was happening and what to expect next. The work is now complete and feels good. I would recommend AS Endodontics to anyone considering root canal treatment and certainly for cases where things may be a little more complex.

Dr Sharma is an absolute professional who has created a space that feels calming, welcoming, and peaceful. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain procedures clearly and in a way that’s easy to understand. From the very beginning of my treatment, he outlined the cost, timeline, and process - and everything unfolded exactly as he described. His team are also warm, friendly, and approachable, which made the whole experience much more positive. While I hope I won’t need another root canal anytime soon, I would have no hesitation in returning to Dr Sharma at AS Endodontics. I was told by my dentist that a wisdom tooth could not easily be root canal filled but Dr Shah took on the challenge and with his incredible skill and expertise saved the tooth for me. The experience from start to finish instilled confidence at every step of the way.
