Appalling and negligent treatment at 1A Dentist – avoid this dentist at all costs. I had an appointment for sedation and two tooth extractions with Mr Asmed Nojib. He confirmed both extractions would be done in one session. Instead, only one tooth was partly removed, fragments were left behind, and the second extraction was not completed. The sedation wore off midway, and I was left in severe pain and distress while the dentist continued working. It was clear there wasn’t enough time allocated for two extractions — the dentist seemed rushed because another patient was waiting. The entire procedure was rushed, careless, and unsafe. Afterwards, I was refused antibiotics despite being in pain and at risk of infection. I was told I’d be referred back to my dentist for follow-up, but no referral was ever sent. When I called repeatedly, I was given excuses, including being told “the referral system is down,” which turned out to be false. I’ve since had to go to my own dentist three times, attend RVI Hospital, and pay over £200 privately to correct what went wrong. I was later told the extraction had failed and I developed a dry socket because of it. This dentist showed clear negligence and no responsibility for the harm caused. Avoid this dentist and this practice completely – they caused me unnecessary pain, expense, and stress, and then refused to take any accountability.

Excellent! I called and got a same day emergancy appointment even though I am not registered as a patient at this surgery. The dentist Ian was brilliant, he took his time, gave me all of the information to make an informed decision and arranged a follow up the next day. I then had the pleasure of seeing Dentist Rebecca who, again, was excellent and very experienced!! She took care of me and resolved the issues with confidence. The whole team were really lovely and I REALLY appreciate thier time.

I’m not a regular patient here, but I came in for an emergency appointment and was treated so well. On my first visit, I couldn’t get anything done because I had my child with me, but the young lady dentist was so kind and understanding — she offered me a very soon appointment to come back and get everything fixed. When I returned, she treated me with such gentle hands that I didn’t feel any pain at all, even though I had two teeth done. I’ve had problems with my teeth since I was a little girl and have had lots of fillings over the years, but I’ve never experienced anything this painless and comfortable. Thank you so much to the dentist for being so kind, patient, and caring. I truly appreciate the help and highly recommend this practice. Shahd
