Iv been with teethscene dentist for a long time and never had a problem. Always been able to get an emergency appointment if needed. My dentist is Colin Glackin and he is amazing. So down to earth and makes you feel at ease when you need treatment. 10/10 in my opinion. Keep up the good work Teethscene

The treatment here isn’t great, from tooth removals that were traumatic as the teeth broke and left pieces of bone in my gums for weeks (pre covid). To my most recent treatments. I wasn’t informed about the changes of dentists and I was given a new dentist, Fiona. I’m quite phobic of the dentist and didn’t feel made at ease at all, I initially went in with a lower broken tooth, which never got fixed. Instead I was given two fillings, one was my front tooth and I didn’t want it done, I was anxious about it ruining my front tooth and I was told it would be fine, no one would notice work at had been done. Both teeth but particularly the front one has been sensitive to temperature, the front one was the worse pain I’ve ever experienced. It resulted in two root canal’s, and I ended up at an emergency dentist due to an infection as the tooth was filled properly (I could feel the cracks but Fiona denied this). I was told the tooth would be filled with white filling and when I asked someone to check my tooth at home the tooth was black with a little sliver of white over it! My tooth and gum is also a horrible shade of blue and has completely knocked my confidence. It’s also still very painful, it’s been almost a year of this for this one tooth. Fiona told me it would be fine, I wasn’t told that it was likely to change colour as my other tooth canals have been fine, when I told a receptionist I was sad about the change of colour she very snippily replied that it’s common for that to happen. Fiona is also terrible with the injections, with one of them coming through my gum and up into my nostril. Completely panicking me. Over all the tooth would probably have lasted longer if they just left it alone, if anything they sped up the process of losing it. I’ve paid for my own orthodontics and I’m gutted to have my smile ruined like this. I’ll likely have to pay to get something good done. Despite there also being loads of staff and nurses hanging around reception whenever I visit, the last time I called no one picked up the phone all week. And when I asked if I could see a different dentist this time I was told they’d call back, they didn’t. After speaking with family and friends who attend here it seems a lot of them are not happy with this practise either but it’s hard to move due to the lack of nhs dentists around. I’ve been lucky that I’ve managed to find elsewhere to attend.

Can’t even get an appointment as a private patient, certainly not as NHS, despite the big NHS sign outside. And this having paid them for treatment before. Staff completely unhelpful and rude.

a friend of mine got a set of top dentures biggest joke ever people comment is he wearing them for a bet they look terrible in He has persevered with them for over a month went back to be told nothing they can do for him really this man is a diabetic and is having serious trouble eating certain foods and ill fitting teeth are detrimental for your well being was told could come back in 6 months and she try again
