Just had my composite bonding teeth done with the lovely G Halkett well what can I say for me am not one for dentisit she really took her time explaining to me what she was doing making sure I was comfortable she went above and beyond well happy with my new smile now also at dentisit scotland from my first appointment everything was well explained with other members of the staff even to reception girls and ofcourse the girl assisting miss G Halkett am so happy am glad I chose them would highly recommend

POORLY DONE CROWN - TOOTH GONE. Unfortunately I have to write this review after a year from the appointments I had in this clinic - a total of 10! - initially I had to go because one of my molar tooth cracked when chewing bread and needed to be fixed. Leaving aside the numerous times they made me wait in the waiting room, sometimes even 1 hour after my scheduled time, the lack of experience of one of their dentists which name started with L, made my tooth filling crack several times. After 4 appointments wasted (even one time when she asked help form a senior dentist - maybe because she did really lacked of experience?), she said I'd need a crown and a root canal to make sure the tooth won't break again. After another 4 appointments and loads of time invested(including an anaesthetic injection that gave an horrific burining pain to half of my face), she managed to finish the job, even though was terribly done! The crown was way too big and wrongly positioned leaving a big gap exposed on the external side between the crown and the gum. It was sore for a while, especially on my gum, but I thought I had to be patient and wait before going back to them. I called them some time later informing that I needed a more experienced of their dentists to check that crown because of the pain still there when chewing and the big gap: they inform me that the previous dentist who did the job wasn't working there anymore( I thought "for a reason"). I go there and the other dentist said that the crown was OK for him and I just needed a trim which he did. After some more time and the tooth still having the same gap and pain, and weird taste of pus was present in the same spot. I decided to go back again, they checked it and once more said that everything was fine, blaming the bad taste on me saying i wasn't probably flossing the tooth so often, and if I'd wanted them to redo the crown because of the wrong positioning, it would have made my tooth on reasonable risk to break and not support a further crown. I decided to coop with the pain and sometimes the bad taste and wait...I wish I'd never done it. After a year I went to a different clinic with a dentists which has proved to be way more professional and honest on my regards. He showed me all the things that was wrong(including the crown partially sitting on my gum and not the tooth) and decided to redo that for me, but when he digged into the tooth it was too late, the tooth went completely rotten, even though I have a good oral Igiene. There was no other choice rather than extraction which I did. After all this words on a final judgement I can say that the NEGLECTING ATTITUDE of the dentists on this clinic made me rot a loose my tooth which once was completely healthy but only cracked. On another metter I also have to justify myself for having gone back all those times to them and not having changed dentist straight away, because they smartly charged me every single time with the reason of "leaving a deposit' even when the job wasn't finished. A piece of advice, avoid this clinic and only pay dentists only at job done! Now I will have to opt for in implant which costs THOUSANDS of pounds.
