Private appointment booked in advance. Previously seen at another My dentist practice in Suffolk 5 years ago. Previous dentist had advised needed three fillings a clean and crown replacement. Due to Covid and moving to Bristol , I didn't chance to get the work done. I saw dentist today at Emersons Green and said I anticipated fillings and crown replacement. After the check up and xrays she advised just a clean no sign of active gum disease but see hygienist as some bone loss. Before leaving, I asked about my 20 year old crown at the front that has a clear black line due to recession, and I have chipped and comestically needs replacement ( I had noted this at the start) .The dentist takes an xray bit and then tells me not sure how much tooth is left underneath, then the tooth has some movement then even if they replaced it would look the same! She had just told me all was ok and now the tooth has movement- did she not check that before? I know without doubt I need a filling in the tooth the previous dentist advised, as I can feel a chunk missing. If you can't replace a crown where is the discussion of alternative options a bridge an implant etc. Feel rushed, not listened to and not inspired in confidence if she can't discuss the different treatment options of treatmemt of a 20 year old crown. I didn't ask for a refund but they gave it as said I wasn't happy. Very poor for a private appointment, feel rushed and will be seeking a second opinion elsewhere!

Been with this practice over 25 years. Been a NHS patient and paid for some work. Always been helpful, open and honest. Recently had great treatment and service from Shweta and her colleagues Alicia and Lou. Eryn and Shelbi on the front desk have always shown me they care and been lovely to deal with. Thoroughly recommend this practise

Generally been very good but after being told I have slight gum disease and need hygienist appt at 3 months intervals, plus check up between, I'm a little disappointed. I'm disappointed as the last 2 check ups I've mentioned about slight bleeding, only to be told there are no issues and it'll be down to cleaning. Now facing some quite hefty costs as hygienist is £100 per visit, plus additional check ups.

I have also been anxious about going to the dentist, but Shweta always puts me at ease and makes me feel calm and comfortable as can be. Her and her nurse Amy’s patience and positive demeanor always make for a good visit. Always go above and beyond for me and I appreciate them! Best dentist ever.

Best DENTIST EVER I’m like very afraid of injections and they were just the kindest ever Shweta is the loveliest most empathetic dentist ever. Zhane was so bubbly, kind and reassuring! Adore

I have had a fair bit of bad experience with my previous NHS dentist which caused a great deal of anxiety and i avoided going to the dentist for around 2-3 years. I finally bit the bullet after one of my teeth cracked and decided to book with My Dentist and boy am i glad i did. Private is of course a fair bit more money but i opted for a payment plan which greatly helps me out as i needed a fair bit of work done. My dentist is Shweta Kulkarni and she is utterly fabulous. I had a check up on 2nd May and my first appointment for a filling this morning. I expressed my anxiety to Shweta as i arrived today but after she had finished, i got up from the chair i thanked her with the biggest grin as i now feel completely at ease. I now have 0 anxiety for my next appointment and am so thankful ive found a dentist who is thorough and also gentle and kind! I guess you just have to find the right dentist for you and i definitely have! Would highly recommend!!! Thank you Shweta, i no longer hate going to the dentist!! :)

Last year I had seen numerous dentists trying to find the right dentist. I joined my dentist in Emerson’s green in November. From the very first appointment I was so impressed with my dentist Shweta, the initial appointment was so thorough, which led on to two fillings and one root canal. No one enjoys having dental work done, but Shweta was amazing, I felt no pain, reassured throughout all my treatments. Alicia who supported Shweta was also brilliant, both worked amazing together. I have now joined both my sons aged 4 & 6 and Shweta & Alicia were amazing with them, one of my sons is autistic and usually doesn’t take to strangers but felt very reassured and actually enjoyed his experience. Big thank you, highly recommend my dentist. Photo is off my youngest also enjoying his experience x
