I had been recommended / referred to the Dental Referral Centre by my local dentist due to the dental extraction being complicated. When there isn't enough natural tooth structure above the gum line to grasp with standard forceps, a surgical extraction is performed using specialized instruments and techniques. I was apprehensive as I knew it was a difficult extraction - however everything from start to finish - was superb - from my first telephone call from the Dental Referral Centre after being referred to the day after extraction with a call to ask if all was ok. At every touch point - the service was excellent. I would also like to thank Dr Mike Ainsworth for his professionalism and making the patient at ease throughout. He made a complicated extraction seem easy, and also offered the follow up to consider for an implant at a later date after the area has healed. Also thank you to the Dental Nurse - Phillip Riley - who assisted in the process and for going though the after treatment care. Without hesitation I would highly recommend the Dental Referral Centre.

I came , with imtrepdation, for root canal treatment and saw Marian who clearly explained what she would do and answered all of my questions. I cannot ever remember any visit to a dentist being so pain free! The treatment was amazing , l didn't even feel the anesthetic needle, Marian is a true professional and l only wish she could be my regular dentist, l had no pain throughout the proceedure and no soreness afterwards. All dentist visits should be this way. I highly recommend Marian and all associated staff who made the visit such a good experience.

Having been referred from my regular dentist regarding placement of implants, i was very nervous & essentially scared about the extensive work that needed to be carried out. I have always had a fear of dentist trips & worked myself up to the verge of panic attacks before every visit! Upon my fist visit to Stephen Godfrey Dental Care, i was greeted by the lovely reception team, who were amazing both on the phone & in person. I was referred to imlpantologist Mike Ainsworth in regards to implants & giving me the smile that i have wanted for years! Upon first meeting of Mike, he could see how nervous/scared i was & took this into account. He explained everything to me step by step & with so much patience! The equipment that they have is unbelievable & top of the range. There was a slight hiccup part way through my journey as i had managed to lose my current denture whilst on holiday, therefore knocking my confidence & didn't want to leave the house. I called the practice & they immediately moved my implant placement appointment forward & Mike moved some work around to get me an appointment the next day! I am honestly gob smacked by the level of service & care provided by everybody in this practice! My treatment isn't finished yet but i know that Mike is a perfectionist & i am in the best hands possible. The nursing team also deserve a huge shout out! I have had a couple of nurses over my visits (apologies i cannot remember their names), & they have both been absolutely incredible, friendly & so so reassuring. At one point she held my hand whilst the initial injections were done. Would also like to give a mention to the hygienist, Emma. She is very calm & patient & informative of the whole process. She has given me knowledge that i never had before & helped me with advice on how to better look after my teeth. The practice is very welcoming, clean & tidy. Very, very well equipped for any job required. A very relaxing waiting room that is kept very tidy & a comfy sofa/chairs to accommodate whilst you wait. I'm not even a quarter of the way through my journey but i no longer work myself up to a panic attack before my appointment & am so much more comfortable attending my appointments! I honestly cannot thank everybody enough!! If you want a friendly, non judgmental practice for your works to be carried out, i highly 100% recommend the whole team at Stephen Godfrey Dental Care!!

Referred here by my usual private dentist, had my mind blown and eyes opened by the thoroughness and standard of care here. Came in thinking a root canal and two teeth out, thanks to the CT scanner they have and the skill of the endodontist working here. It transpires the work I actually need is much more conservative than first thought. Big shout-out to Simon and his assistant for their professionalism and friendly attitude which put me at ease straight away as I was riddled with anxiety. Would 100% recommend this place. Looking forward to completing my treatment and returning to full health. Practice is clean, tidy and a pleasant place to be, waiting area very relaxing and the dental suites kitted out with the latest gear. Consultation somewhat pricey but worth every penny, I expect my visit here has saved me a pretty penny and discomfort going forward. Cannot reiterate how impressive this place is, got me in at the last second before a holiday too.

I can't speak highly enough for all at this practice! From the wonderful receptionists to the nurses, hygienist, and dentists! I had an awful time with a few teeth - one in particular, and had lots of pain, couldn't eat properly, and to be honest it got me down mentally.
