Disgusting attitude towards customer. Contacted to let them know we were running late due to unforeseen curcumstances, told we would be OK if within 10 minutes of appointment time, arrived 8 minutes after time and were told, in the snottiest, most disparaging manner that we would not be seen. Condescending, confrontational and aggressive behaviour from receptionist.

I should have written this a long time ago. Park Road Dental have helped and cared for me so much over the last few years. I had struggled to get my teeth under control and required a lot of work. No matter if emergency care or longer term work to improve my dentition over the years they have been there for me. Special shout out to Dr Mason who has done the vast bulk of the work. A shining light of NHS Dentistry despite the national strain on Dentistry services.

Went in on 31/10/24 through the emergency dentist as I kept getting pain in my jaw and had already had antibiotics for an abscess. I am terrified of the dentist but I asked to get on the waitlist because I couldn’t fault them. I believe I saw Gemma (the Irish dentist) and Leah and they couldn’t have been nicer. They always made sure I was okay and that I wasn’t in any pain. They didn’t rush but also didn’t faff and drag it out. We did a quick x-ray and decided to take the tooth out, I was so scared but they were very assuring. The longest part was waiting for the numbing to set in, after that the tooth was out very quickly in one piece. I go back for fillings in January and hope to get registered within a year. March - I’ve been back twice now for more work and couldn’t be happier with the service, I’ve seen Sweta (upstairs) and she is lovely. Explains everything and takes it at your pace to make sure you’re comfortable. We’ve now done 3 fillings and started a root canal (I had an infection that she cleaned out and needs to heal before the work can be done). I’m happy to go back as they make me feel comfortable and listened to and have honestly made me less scared of the dentist

I am so thankful to the team for seeing me as an emergency appointment today. My teeth were causing me so much pain after flu and sinusitis over the Christmas holidays. The receptionist was so kind and understanding when I phoned in floods of tears and the lady dentist who saw me was amazing too, she gave me so much reassurance and knowledge about why my teeth were hurting so much due to blocked sinus. The dentist was calm and didn’t rush the appointment. Thank you team for seeing me today in my time of need. Much love x

I went there as an emergency, not a registered patient. Every one there were so friendly and treatment was explained to me, I felt at ease as I am a very nervous patient. Gemma, the dentist was so lovely and understanding.

Beyond unprofessional, been waiting since October 2021 to be seen, its now nearly march 2022 and I've still yet to have any action done. They messed up the booking for my follow up appointment and now want me to wait a further 2 months to be seen. Bearing in mind last time, they said this appointment would be whether I get to keep a tooth or have it removed. From reading the reviews for this place it looks like everyone has the same experiences across the board. I'm looking for a new practice as we speak. Edit November 2023: Nearly a year and a half later of waiting on NHS waiting lists and I finally got a new dentist. I almost lost a tooth in that time. Park Road North was the only Dentist that I'd been to in my life and I'm glad I'm no longer at this practice. I've realised how rushed and uncaring the dentists here are compared to my new one. When I went here they were debating on pulling a tooth with a relatively minor cavity, my new dentist greeted me with half a molar missing no thanks to not having a dentist because of PRNDP. As of September 2024 my new Dentist has thought tooth and nail to assure i can keep this tooth which was in 3 times worse condition than when PRNDP was thinking of pulling it. Do yourself a favour and go anywhere else.
