From the moment I arrived, he made me feel completely at ease — calm, professional, and very reassuring. He explained every step clearly and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. Extremely disappointed. After spending around £160 on both an examination and an emergency appointment, I get referred to another dentist who’s examination cost alone is £150 and charges £300 more than this clinic for root canal treatment. I initially came to do probably 2 or more root canals based on both, good reviews and cost. So how am I supposed to trust you with my teeth if you just refer me to someone else after charging me that much money. If you aren’t good at what you do (root canal) then don’t advertise that on your website. Also during the emergency appointment I got told that it will be free of charge. So I thought I will get refunded for what I paid as a deposit (the whole amount) but no, what he meant was that they aren’t charging me anything extra. Which cannot happen anyway because he didn’t do anything to my teeth and was just chatting to me the whole time. I am not sure if both dentists in there are as bad, but this experience was with the old guy. Good luck to anyone else!

My wife was unhappy with advice given by her NHS dentist so we visited Castle Lane Dental Practice for a second opinion and thank goodness we did! Russ and his team talked us through options and we agreed on an implant. The attention to detail, professionalism and care offered has been extraordinary and probably the most important aspect was that in just a few visits we trusted them completely and as a nervous patient building trust is so crucial. Russ’s colleague Farid and his team performed the surgical work explaining everything in detail, putting my wife at ease and ensuring the procedure was carried out with extreme care, the result being a high quality first class implant perfectly matching the teeth on either side.
