Dr Thomas and his assistant have been amazing from start to finish. I needed quite a bit of work doing and was very nervous about my first visit but they kept me calm and relaxed the whole time. I did not feel any pain during my fillings and even my root canal was completely painless. On my last appointment I was that relaxed I could have fallen asleep in the chair. They have genuinely helped me get over my anxiety about the dentist and I am so glad I finally decided to go. Looking back, I do not know why I put it off for so long. The receptionists are also lovely and the whole place feels really welcoming from the moment you walk in. I am truly grateful for everything they have done and I cannot thank them enough. Aidan Wood

Like many people my age, I have genuinely tried my best to look after my teeth, but I still ended up developing a serious form of gum disease. Life doesn’t seem fair! I regularly attended the dentist and constantly asked “my dentist” what could be done and why was it happening and I was told “nothing could be done, it’s too late now” and I was never told a reason or a remedy. What is worse is that this serious gum disease affected my four bottom front teeth badly, making them very wobbly, therefore biting and eating was very painful and sometimes impossible. Feeling depressed and thinking my situation was hopeless, I knew I needed to find another dentist. So I started to research the “best dentist” and a few times Khalid’s name came up. I did more research and his work was very impressive, his patients had undergone some amazing transformations and he seemed extremely kind and gentle. So, I took the brave step and made a new patient appointment and He made me feel so relaxed and calm the moment I met him and explained he could help me, which was the best part for me. He carefully went through what he was going to do in language I could understand. I had to have 4 of my bad teeth taking out but he made sure that a 4 tooth denture was already made BEFORE the day of the extractions so that I never walked around with a gappy smile. My denture was so good too, it fit snugly and looked amazing but that was only the beginning. I then had a full course of hygiene appointments with Lynn who is also really good and gentle for nervous patients like me. This made sure my mouth felt good and healthy again and I did not have any sore spots, redness or bleeding. I then whitened my teeth for 6 weeks to get them ready for my new straight, white bridge. Today I got my bridge fitted and OMG, I cannot believe how great it looks and how amazing it actually feels to have such natural looking fixed teeth. My whole smile has been transformed…and so have I. I cannot stop staring at them! I’m so so so happy and I cannot thank Khalid enough for his amazing work (he is a dental magician) and for being so kind, gentle and nice. Khalid made me feel calm from the very first appointment and never once judged me, stared at my mouth or made me feel guilty. He always tried to make everything as painless as possible and never hurt me. I now look forward to going to the dentist and often do not sleep the night before down to the excitement rather than the fear. I have got my confidence back fully and the most perfect amazing teeth to go with it. I’d give 10 stars if I could 🤩

I had the amazing opportunity to shadow Dr Khalid and his team for two days just recently and it was a very insightful experience. When i stepped inside the practice I was greeted by the wonderful reception and they assured me Dr Khalid would be with me shortly. While shadowing Dr Khalid I saw how he interacted with patients and how they all left with smiles on their faces. Whenever I asked a question Dr Khalid always gave a well explained response. I also got to see multiple dental procedures e.g. Crown preps, Tooth Implants and also tooth extractions. Not only did I see this but also, Dr Khalid talked me through each procedure thoroughly ensuring i learned from it. I also got the opportunity to shadow Dr Henry Sarpong who was also great at answering my questions and also performing intricate procedures. Overall my experience at bank view smile studios was exceptionally eye opening into the career of dentistry and further increased my desire to be a dentist. I would like to thank all the staff at Bank View Smile Studios for making my experience there pleasant and I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for dental care or any work experience.

Sorry to say but my overall experience was very disappointing. Arranged a consultation and paid the £125. A plan of treatment was arranged at over £2300 and several appointments, inc. visiting the Hygienist £145. Two front fillings £260, also discussed the next appt. with Thomas for the 'wax-up' for the 4 composite bondings on my lower teeth. - £408.75 and what would be happening. After waiting 2 weeks to save some more funds for the upcoming treatment, I contacted them to arrange for an appt. To which I was told, "Thomas has changed his mind and says your composites are not suitable and refuses to treat you any further!" The end! To say I was disappointed doesn't even cover it! I was planning on becoming a regular patient of theirs as I was very happy with the staff and treatment I'd had on previous appointments. Just feel disappointed and let down and a poor show overall on his part.😒 Follow up; " I did not get chance to get the ' formal planning, design and 3D visualisation ' because Thomas wasn't prepared to see me after waiting the two weeks! "Why would I pay for all the necessary appointments beforehand if I wasn't plannning on going through with all the treatment? Why wouldn't Thomas speak to me to explain what was planned in my treatment plan? Like I say, it was his decision to cancel the treatment and not mine! I suggest he'd got in over his head and promised treatment and results that he wasn't capable of delivering. Like I say, a poor show on his part! _______________________________ Their reply below is totally untrue!! I was given zero chance to make any further appointments!! The End.

During my placement, my passion for dentistry further developed. During the my time at Bank View, I observed lots of procedures. Dr Master explained everything I asked in lots of detail and also explained the procedures he was carrying out. I was given homework tasks to consolidate my knowledge as well. Overall, I throughly enjoyed the time I spent in the practice. Every single member of staff made me feel welcome.
