I would not personally recommend Banning Dental Group if you are planning to get braces. When getting checked up for these braces, I asked if they would manage to get my teeth sorted within a timeframe, to which they said yes, did X-Rays and wrote up a treatment plan and detailed every payment which I saved up for that summer as I was a student. Then after I started treatment it took them three months to discover that I had an extra tooth on the lower set, after I told them I had issues with my bite.
Then after getting my braces off, I realised that instead of fixing my overbite through shifting the teeth, they just gave me an overjet on the bottom row of teeth, which not only makes it harder to bite, but also makes it extremely painful to wear the retainers each night.
The teeth themselves aren't straight and look wonky, as well as the fact that I now have a crooked smile, which they tried to blame on my jaw, however none of this was explained or even addressed when they actually did the X-Ray of my face. To try to remedy this they filed down my teeth to try to get my smile to look straighter, and now my teeth feel very dull.
When I got my braces removed, they missed the removal of the glue that they used on my brackets on numerous teeth, and they filed down the teeth to try make them look straighter and was also promised a syringe of teeth whitening, which I thought I was going to get but I didn't which sucked because I wanted it for my graduation and didn't have time to sort out another treatment since I got my retainers on the day of gradation .
Then when it was time to get my retainers, I explained that I was going to go on holiday by a specific time, and they stated that I would get them within a week of getting my braces off, however the retainers did not come through at all, so I called reception numerous times and they told me to wait, and they would call me when they have them. 2 weeks later, I had to ask for the managers number to ask for my retainers, in which they apologised and sent them the next day, and I then also told them my complaints about the entire process, and they stated that they were going to investigate the inquiry and come back to me, which they haven't at all.
I would still like to state that the reception staff are lovely and they were also very kind and attentive, however the overall service provided by Banning is in my case abysmal and the complaints were not heard higher up.
