I have never been afraid of the dentist before, and didn't understand why people were. After one visit here, I get it. I had an excellent dentist for 30 years in the smile centre. Got transferred here and it's been a nonstop shambles since. Didn't transfer our patient records in a reasonable time so I was left without care when a filling fell out. Tried to call for an appointment and wasn't told the hold line didn't work so I wasted 15 minutes on it. Finally got an appointment and was not listened to. Then finally got my filling. I've had to get some very serious work in the past, but I've never had to suppress a panic attack in the chair until today. Felt unable to speak up when it hurt because I was told it shouldn't hurt. It wasn't even the filling itself - it was how they handled me. I'm transferring immediately. They've been horrible to my mother as well. Partner is scared to get a check up. Not that he'd be in danger any time soon - heard the desk say the next available appointment is 4 months away. Absolute joke.

Been coming here since I was a kid but now left utterly disappointed… made an appointment 1-2 months ago for a CHECK UP and the only thing the dentist could focus on was a cut on my lip and inside of my cheek from wisdom tooth. Didn’t check my teeth nor did she even give me feedback on how the wisdoms were doing. Left totally in the dark about my own dental hygiene. Went to another dentist with mouth pain… 2!!! Cavities she’s missed. Absolutely disgusting this has happened and won’t be going back. Dental practice should be ashamed of how far the bar has dropped in the last 5-6 years.

Been a patient here since I was a little girl. Phoned in March this year and explained I had a hole in my tooth and needed it fixed urgently. Told me I couldn’t get an appointment until March 2026 and the only way I could get one is if I was in pain and phoned in the morning. I had to move dentist just to get an appointment and due to the time it was left the tooth had to be removed. I now have large dental costs to get an implant just to save my smile. Fair to say after Clyde Munro bought Bathgate dental spa it went down hill. Glad to say I will never be a patient here again.

Sadly can’t retain dentists and now twice I have had to go longer periods of time without ability to get any work done other than an emergency appointment as not able to assign a dentist . Appreciate they say they can’t recruit replacement dentists but this leaves lots of patients without dental care for a long time missing check ups currently a year and de registering as gone private without the hassles

Threw me out of a practice I had been attending for over 30 years with no problem! Lovely dentists,lovely staff. Done me a favour,now got a lovely family friendly practice They told me daughter when she phoned for emergency appt that no dentists were in practice today,phone back tmw or go to Glasgow practice. No appointments today in Glasgow was told phone NHS tonight or phone back tmw!!! Absolute joke...do NOT recommend

Poor experience. Family have not been able to have check up for 1 to 2 plus years due to high turn over and poor retention of staff. Unreliable service for families or children needing care. Child smile nurse not fit for role and judgemental, leaving my children in tears due to poor and badly handled experience. Do not recommend, if you can, go somewhere else.

Shocking. You get assigned to a proper dentist, then he palms you off onto a different dentist every time, there's no consistency, and it's a shambles. I've been waiting for teeth since before Christmas, each set comes back worse than the last, and you darent miss an appointment, they punish you by making you wait months to be seen again. I don't know what to do next.. This is awful.

Unreliable, unorganised, and generally a big disappointment! Called in February for clean and polish. Was told my dentist left for maternity (despite seeing her day prior for denture fitting). At this point I was still under free care due to being on maternity myself. I was calling every other day checking if there is a cover yet, to be told they put me on waiting list and will let me know once they have cover. Well...we're in June and you guessed it, I still haven't been seen.
